83. Some of the greatest Dead shows and off the hook JGB shows. Boy, the audience recordings for both bands from 1983 are some of the best aud. recordings of all-time. Thank you tapers and thank you gnu, again, for all these kind uploads.
like those 76 boston hall shows. and the garden.. boston is a great place. saw one show at the boston Orpheum. saw dso play somewhere there near the music hall- right down the street. that was a cool theater.

That Rhapsody is so tight! Melvin F’ing crushed that! ☮️🤘
Thanks so much. I love the energy and mix. You can really hear the whole band.
Ha, I started listening to this about 1:14 & wondered if i had the playback setting sped up.
I saw both shows. I was 15 years old.
Rick Danko opened both shows, solo acoustic. Great set, Cannot find it anywhere...
Whoa!!!! Would really love to hear those Danko sets.
Have you tried internet archive?

Opens with a very lucid, inspired “Cats” - great sound. A real treat!
The Orpheum is the best place in Boston to see a show.

my first gd show was less than a year before this show. good time for jerry’s sound
Wow, somehow I missed this, though I was living at the Wellesley hotel then..not far from the Orpheum. I don't know how I wasn't aware of this show..
Like Russian Lullaby but John Kahn shouldn't allow his 3 year old to play bass solos during a show....you know what I mean?
