- Take me to the pedal: gtrgtr.uk/Digi...
We caught up with our good friend Pete Thorn at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow whilst on tour with the Classic Rock Show. In this video, Pete shows us how he gets sweet, natural feedback at any volume, with our without distortion. This pedal is perfect for situations where volume must be controlled like in the studio, with in ear monitors, or low-volume performance or practice.

Love my FreqOut pedal. Every now and then, it's the exact spice you need.
Pete is so cool - and the Freqout is my new must buy pedal!
Great video. Just bought mine, still waiting for the delivery, and I'm so excited about it
freqout is amazingly amazing :D i got one and it's dope
SoftTube needs to make a pedal version of their Acoustic Feedback plugin that hopefully won't cost $200 and will look more professionally made.
How would people order a wah pedal, fuzz and freqout? Presumably freqout, wah then fuzz? The freqout is acting like the guitar (feeding back) then run into the filter then the fuzz?
Yeah that would be the way I would try it first! Give it a try in another other though, it might have some cool results that you like :)
I have one and it’s fantastic but I find that it cuts the note too soon, does anyone else have that experience with it?? I really want to hold the note for a long time but it just doesn’t do it, am I doing something wrong??
Put the gain up a bit more.
Use a compressor before the effect. Also you can try putting your amp on a chair so it's near the height of your guitar. Used in combination with the compressor, you should be able to get natural feedback at lower volumes much easier, which will sustain your notes longer. I'm not sure how this will work with Freqout as I don't have it, but it should help keep your output more constant.
