This was a great explanation! I teach high school students and some of them figure out how to see the key in conditional formatting. Do you have a video explaining how to get around this?
Hi, I have tried your method and it was easy for me until I had to do the custom formatting. I do not know if I am doing something wrong. I did everything you have said in the video and it still is not working. Can any one please help?
I am working on creating a mystery pic. When I get to the selection of the squares/cells, and I try to hit the "control" button, a menu pops up, and I cannot select more than the first cell. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. I haven't run into this problem with 0 so, unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. Sorry! Usually, if I run into a phrase or something the formula doesn't support, I find it easier to just change the question than to try and change the formula.

I had to change my number settings so the default was on the plain text numerical setting

I tried to do words for the answers instead of numbers, but the formula doesn't work with letters. What do I need to type in for the formula.
