Lol I see that they released a knife that is almost EXACTLY the same as a design that I sent to them once. They didn't offer me any job or compensation, but it sure looks like they had no problem using my work. Lol Roger that, Tops. I know where to not spend my money.
Definitely need to get one of those Lil Chete's!! I have the full-sized El Chete and LOVE IT, but I can see the value of having a "Chete" that's smaller/lighter/easier/more nimble to use (but still not too small). Some tasks don't require the FULL-ON BEAST MODE OF THE EL CHETE! By the way, if anyone is interested (I just Googled it) - apparently "Chete" is NOT a Spanish word - it's a slang, shortened form of maCHETE! Hey, I learned something new today - please correct me if I'm wrong so I can learn something new tomorrow!
I want to see the regular Silent Hero in stainless steel because it would make a great kitchen knife as well! The river wash coating looks good but rust very easy! Please do the Silent Hero in Stainless steel??????
The Brakimo is one of my favorite all-around outdoor/camping belt knives. The new Brakimo 2 in this video looks a bit strange with the G10 (IMO); I think they should stick with the green Micarta (very nice!). Maybe that new 'Crocodile Tread' pattern would look better on the Micarta, but I feel it makes the G10 look like cheap plastic (at least in this video). IMO, no tread would look better or the "Rocky Mountain Tread" looks very cool. I'm not sure how I feel about the thinner, more narrow blade and handle; I think this is one I need to see and handle in person to determine if I like it enough to buy another version of the Brakimo. I do trust that Joe Flowers & TOPS know what they're doing when they design a knife, so maybe I should just pull the trigger on it. ??🤔??
Let us youtube viewers, submit our knife designs. You dont have to keep remaking the same ones. Also, do keychain size knives of the most popular ones.
Meh... Does Tops still have the appeal they did a decade ago? I'm not seeing it... He's crying about giving the people the 90° ferro striking spine that we all want. Just give it to us. Why wouldn't they? Idk.. I think Tops is pretty washed up at this point.
No disrespect intended, everyone has their own preferences, but I STILL LOVE TOPS - especially for affordable, tough, outdoor blades! Sure, some of their designs are a bit unusual/funky, but they have some that are awesome! For example, (IMO): El Chete; Bushcrafter Kukri; Yacare 10.0; Brakimo; BOB Fieldcraft; Tanimboca Puukko; Scandi Trekker; and the Mini Scandi Knife (MSK) are all superb! I also really like that they're still made in the USA and consistently reliable with a great fit/finish! Just my opinions though.
Unfortunately USA made knives will be too expensive here in Canada because of the new increase price tariffs. Same for everything else I guess. So I guess it's no sense looking at USA made knives anymore or subscribing to these channels. Anyways it was nice while it lasted.
New brakimo is something from tops ill actually buy. Micarta instead of g10. Hope they actually make it. Should have made the ersk. Tops designs are mostly far to artsy to be usable tools
Would love to see Tops make knives in 3V.
If only if only! I see a lot of TOPS I like and then I think 1095? Why, when we have 3V?
The badger creek is a cool design, I like it!
I love Tops knives. The quality and designs are very functional.
I love Tops knives. Their pricing is decent and the quality is good. Badass designs, very Americana.
I've been waiting for the badger creek ever since they day viewed it last year

That Badger Creek is perfect! 690 stainless steel! 3/16 thick! What is the blade length? Looks around 6"! I've heard of the N 690 bohler steel! Nice!
