      The original 777 was the most boring sensible aircraft Boeing had ever made when it was built. Hopefully the new iteration will continue the legacy!

    Seeing the horizontal stabilizers lateral flutter it was obvious that it was a very windy day, but after waiting through the recorded sound of the wind, it was certainly worth the wait to hear the sound of the engines spool up on the newest generation of the 777, then hear it and watch it roll for take-off.

      Yeah thats the flutter test- to make sure structurally it does not resonate to its natural resonance from the engine vibration and does not result in any structural failure

    Well... finally Jumbos are not finished like everybody was expecting..by the time this baby is certified ,the A380 will have claim his crown back....Emirates just ordered two new Airbus 380 with new interior design ,British airways and Singapour also , and it"s killing it as a super cargo plane.

    • @Tom-sv2bw
      @Tom-sv2bw 3 роки тому +7

      I appreciate your optimism, but Emirates had four Airbus A380's left to be delivered, and that's when production ends on this model. These are not new orders, but new planes already on order, outfitted with the new interior. The same goes for British Airways and Singapore Airlines. They are putting new Interiors in their older A380s. When Boeing delivers the 777x in 2023, it's efficiency alone will make it harder for any of the quad jumbo Jets still in service. Doesn't mean however, that the 380's, will not stay in service for years to come with a handful of Airlines.

    • @Blank00
      @Blank00 3 роки тому +5

      The only reason the A380 is serving as a super cargo plane is because the cargo consists of masks and PPE, which are relatively light

In the future air travel will be so expensive that only people with means will be able to afford it. Fuel prices and the price of raw materials to build these will drive prices beyond comprehension.
