    29:50 part c aromatic nhi hai becoz continuous conjugation nhi hai ring mai so it is non-aromatic compound...it has extended conjugation than b ..

    AT 29:56 if C is aromatic then B is anti aromatic cuz it has 4 pi electrons which is highly unstable and C can not be used as substrate as COOH shows -M effect which causes the ring to not have the 2pi electrons of oxygen, which causes the ring to have only 4pi electrons.

      B can never be anti aromatic since no extended conjugation, no planar form..... -M of C=O will not effect the ring since no π bond at [1,2] position of ring hence no extended conjugation

      Maybe, because a negative charge means a lone pair and the tendency of the compound to attain aromaticity makes the lone pair into a Pi Bond thus making the compound stable and aromatic.

    Sir CaO is a strong dehydrating agent so what will be the possibility of having water in the reaction mixture after all whole point of lime is to dehydrate so I'm really doubting the carb anion attacking water part of the mechanism you have, ...
    Though there could be some water but there is another reaction of benzylic acid with a chlorine on the adjacent carbon ... rather than taking a H+ at the carbanion step , it forms triple bond when Cl- leaves due to unavailability of water ... and plenty heat is there for stabilisation of the unstable species .... that triple bond ring dimerizes afterwards...
    So how do we know when does dehydration takes place and when not

    Last question,question no 4 'c' is not aromatic. Rather it has extended conjunction which is more stable than cross conj(b)

    Sir i go to allen but in my module the reaction mechanism is different.
    OH- from NaOH attacks on RCOONa and forms R- and NaHCO3.Now R- attacks on H of Nahco3 and forms RH.
    So according to them the H is not from H2O it is from NaOH.
    Please reply sir.
