The solar eclipse captured the attention of folks around the country, and if you damaged your eyes during it, it may take a while before you see symptoms.
ar-ar-are you serious?....I mean apart from it being COMMON SENSE not to look at it, this was all over the fucking news. They mentioned countless times not to look at it...
Thats probably why i'm sort of blind in my right eye... I remember hearing about it damaging the eyes, so I decided to only look at it with my right eye.
@tutsebhatu6495 I think some of them. Can't have the capability of learning because yesterday. This guy was standing right beside me with. No solar eclipse glasses on so Me. I'm trying to be a nice person. I tell the guy you shouldn't be doing that The guy turns around and drops an f bom on me I told the guy enjoy being blind When it was over he started panicking saying can't see guess what was my answer to this guy I told you so People play stupid games, they win stupid prizes 😅
Oh frick no, i’m paranoid, i’m frickin scared that i’m gonna be looking at it, i’ll probably be at school during that time, i suggest being around people during that day, that way you know that you shouldn’t look directly at the sun during that time. That way you won’t be scared knowing people are reminding you at the moment.
@@aychingaoCertainly is... Your pupils are most likely wide open during the eclipse due to the darkness, making your retina receive all UVA rays that the sun is still emitting... You're literally burning your retina using a deadly lazer emitted by the cosmic ball of plasma above us. I'm feeling bad now about the many times I looked directly at the sun for no reason...
I can’t take any risks of going blind from looking at a solar eclipse! I still have my protective glasses from the 2017 eclipse.
Why in the world they tell us this after everything is over, this is something that should've been said before the solar eclipse happened 🤦🏻♂️
Jeremias Pascual well said
There were warnings and you should know not to look at the sun without protection. I'm a bit paranoid as even with protection.
Warnings!!!!! Serious 😒!
Jeremias Pascual I looked at the sun when the moon was off the sun like you could see the sun

Damn!
Bro same but my left eyes, I covered my right eye with my hands and looked at the sun on a half eclipse
@@nickic-gie1349How long did you look at it?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was at school while it happened, so I didn't get to see it. I'm safe :)
They'll be seeing eclipse 24/7
No kidding 😂😂😂
Doubt it
So 10,000 years ago the people in the line of totality who likely all looked at it went blind I'm assuming. Any thoughts any one ?
I guess so hope they teaches their young to learn better

Is it just me that im scared of solar eclipses-

Y'all are chickens
We just had one here full totality. I didn’t look up once. It was cooler to feel like it was nighttime at 13:40
I just watched the eclipse online like any person with common sense would, got to watch something cool and I didn't fuck with my eyes...
It's crazy but I need to understand how it damages the eye
I assume it is the same thing as looking at sun any other random day. I don't think an eclipse is more harmful

@@aychingao the sky goes dark on an eclipse, so your pupils dilate letting in more light, increasing the risk of damage
@@aychingaoyou don’t get fucking retina burn from looking at the sun a bit on any other day 😂
Yeah it was really scary to hurt their eyes lie that by solar eclipses! But I need to be careful not to look at the sun
