- The speech, delivered in the House of Lords by the King with all the traditional pomp and pageantry, includes many of the policies championed in Labour’s manifesto.
Charles told the gathered peers and MPs the Government’s programme would be “based upon the principles of security, fairness and opportunity for all”, adding that his ministers would “get Britain building”.
The Planning and Infrastructure Bill will reform the system to help meet the goal of building 1.5 million more homes over the course of the Parliament, deciding “how, not if” properties are built.

The Stoke on Trent City Council however, had no objection when during the conversion of St Johns Church in Hanley into a mosque, christian grave stones were deliberately destroyed. The UK, especially England, is one of the most populated countries per km. We're 8th most populated in Europe but that's based off of current figures that say our population is around 67 million, which is almost certainly an underestimate and then we're behind "countries" like Monaco who are 1st then 2 Vatican City 3 Malta 4 San Marino 5 Netherlands 6 Turkey 7 Belgium. The UK is clearly overpopulated, the rate and number of immigrants coming is too much, we can all see the affects. It's unjust what we're being forced to put up with. I don't want to live in a over crowded dump.

My sister who is a progressive MS sufferer asked for a door to be replaced by Chesterfield Bourough Council 5 years ago...the door let water into the house whenever there was a storm with driving rain from the north....eventually she got fed up with waiting, after numerous attempts to get it sorted she bought a door herself and had it fitted about 4 months ago. The council found out about this and (the new door stayed) reprimanded her for buying a door without their permission. Who do these Lackies of the government think they are...too many people with no job jobs giving the vulnerable among us a hard time. Disgraceful people Gaslighting her for doing their supposed role. Well duh. I've been saying this for years. It's simple maths. It's nothing to do with who anyone is, it's about sheer numbers. Every human regardless of who they are needs to have a roof over their head and we simply aren't and can't build enough.
I have my own home and I have no children of my own so the housing shortage doesn't directly affect me but that doesn't mean to say I don't want other people's children to have the opportunity to own a home of their own in the future.
The trouble is so many people are still not clued up. They moan about high rents and crazy house prices and yet they still vote for either open borders Conservatives or even more open borders Labour then they can't understand when our overall, net population rises by something like 700,000 per year, why housing costs are going up.
The vast majority of the electorate are completely clueless about what they are voting for. They blind vote. They shout what they believe in but then vote for a political party that believes in the exact opposite.
That's why, I'm now becoming more heartless. Those who voted for it can now own it. Those parents can explain to their own children why they voted for politicians who make it ever harder for those children to ever own their own home.
What a mess ? get your house in order Britain why it still belongs to you.

If we look at net immigration stats for 2023 being 685,000 then over the next 5 years there will be 3.4 million new migrants in the UK. Starmer's plan to build 1.5 million new houses wont be nearly enough, and that's IF he can pull that off. The most houses ever built in one year in the UK is 30,000.
And of course, with his immigration policy there's going to be a shitload more than 685 thousand net migrants in this country.
