Nice review, Do you reckon it's too low as far as ground clearance for farm tracks and big flooded roads?
Thanks bud. Nah man, I don’t think this would be good for the farms. Also has low profile tyres with 19/20” inch rims so don’t think it would be ideal 😅
@@autoadvisorza well you can change tires.
I think you got the competitors wrong for the CX-60. The CX-5 actually competes with the likes of the RAV4, VW Tiguan, KIA Sportage etc. Internationally the CX-5 is compared with these. I think the CX-60 fits into a gap between a RAV4 and Fortuner or Tiguan and Touareg, it is unique in that way. I also feel that Mazda products in general fit into a gap between affordable/utilitarian vehicles and premium vehicles.
Sure, i hear you. I guess I was thinking more around competition around that 1m price point from the top of my head those are the models that came to mind. Hope that makes sense but I do agree with you, it is unique.
There wouldn't be a confusion if the Mazda agent understood the brand. Just look how many buttons are blanked out on the aircon panel. They took out heated seats function and other things.
sadly it wont matter. Mazda is dead in South Africa.
I saw on property websites that Mazda Southern Africa warehouse/head office building is up for rental or for sale.
What does the undercarriage look like? Are the exhaust chrome tips for show or they the real thing? The 2 c-type ports at the back, near them, what is that spot for?
Comes with a space saver spare or a full tire and rim? Lock nuts?
Is there an option for foglights?
You were not using the heads-up display?
I think it’s best for you to go have a test drive. Check out everything you looking for above. You can arrange a test drive by visiting our site www.autoadvisor.co.za, enquire on the Mazda CX60 and someone will be in touch to assist.
Like 90% of manufacturers these days the "tailpipes" purely cosmetic and not real.
The CX60 comes with a space saver in the boot.
No option for Foglights or anything else, comes full house as is
Planning to upgrade to the 2.5L CX60 this year love the space, wonder how's the real world mpg though
The 3.3L is amazing but alot is unknown, though Mazda builts realiable cars but it aint known
Just a fan of the Mazda interiors , something i struggle with when i get into Toyota's 😔
I think this turbo diesel is super efficient, can’t comment on the 2.5L as I didn’t drive that but I assume it will be heavier on fuel.
@ Very true pulling such a huge car with a NA petrol engine won’t be efficient ,
Hope they make a mild-hybrid 2.5L, I’ll watch how the prices drop on the 3.3L it’s a lovely setup
@@memo313media The 2.5 has been Mazda's top engine for 16 years now. You dont even need to ask how effiecient it will be.
It will perform the same as it did on CX5 and Mazda6
@ Lol great input 🫡🙏🏾 I know the 2L CX5, I average 7.5 with mostly city driving
CX60 more weight will obviously be different, been in a Haval 1.5T with avg 8.3 so I always compare to the 2L NA skyactiv that I’ve seen do avg 5.6 highway driving
I have the PHEV and the mileage is not amazing. With a full battery + full tank you can go around 550Km. But the car is amazing, has the best design among its peers and so, so much power!
This is not the Takumi spec we have in Europe , I've ordered it and it's with Napa white leather, wooden inserts for the doors plus the interior that you are showing is more like the Homura here . Then there is the poverty buttons on the steering wheel and the controls for the safety systems which is typical for the base version . IDK why they are doing it like this ....
you should have picked the Homura instead.
Rear looks like X5
