I wish Evaporust would sponsor your project and give you a 55 gallon drum of it you could soak those completely fused parts and it makes getting them apart a lot easier

The Mechanist Glen here, Evaporust are you guys watching 😎.
Yes that would be something if we had a quantity like that on hand.
This entire project is funded by donation or out of our own pockets so any help really is appreciated & goes towards the restoration.

Very good job again but gosh what a hell of work to do dealing with welded/sized parts! A dumb question for you: do you still have the optical sights somewhere? Looking forward to the next video?

Paolo Viti Glen here thanks for your comment.
We have the scope that would work in tandem with the SCHWEBEKREISVISIER 38 but are still searching for the SCHWEBEKREISVISIER 38. 😎

@@seabich thanks for replying but I suspect that it's going to be interesting to find it!

You should have the wheels scanned and the covering printed out of some acceptable material that will work.

black Polyurethane resin is a great substitute for bakelite!

Rafael Lang Glen here, we are looking at a few firms that do poly casting to see if we can get the wheels finalized.
We have a good sample of the pattern from a future project that we can use.

Love your vids! Keep on making new content. Have you guys thought of doing a vid with Nicolas Moran, aka the Chieftain? Guaranteed to bring so many more viewers around and he seems like a really cool and very knowledgeable guy.
