I lived in this city in 2012.
Wow! How was the city then in regards to cost of things?
@@Faithafahaene I'd say no much difference. It has always been an expensive place compared to other surrounding states.
This isn't negating inflation.
@clueng yeahhhh I agree with you, Calabar is an expensive place to live ( enjoyment city) it’s the place were you go hustle and come and enjoy the money in the city but in regards to enjoyment now calabar isn’t that city it used to be before. In regards to cost of food, considering the present times, it’s more expensive now 🥹
cost of food items really high. i used to buy a cup of chop beans in 2020 for 50 naira per cup, now that same beans is 500naira a cup... its realyy crazy i must say. the govt doesnt know how cost of living has really skyrocked! tinubu must prove to nigerians that he is not mistake
Omoooo 🥹 everything is so expensive I mean everything! Two days ago on my way to a rural market in cross river state the vehicle I boarded to and fro we were having a discussion about the cost of living in Nigeria and I randomly said “everything is so expensive except ginger, if you want to buy ginger they will pack a lot for you for small amount of money” not until I got to the market and needed to buy some to treat my cough, I shout Omo I deceived myself o, one small ginger is 50 Naira 😭 it didn’t use to be like this o, God help us
The least amount of pepper you can get is 500 Naira, nothing less! 🥹
