The hardest part of Clyde in the Caldera, is just the fact that the platforms require that perfectly angled roll, and if you screw it up, you won’t make that jump to the platform
Clyde (Blinky) I think is hardest boss, his phase 5 is so hard because his hitbox is small as hell so it’s hard to find the right place to hit him, and even if you do find it, he flys away so fast you’ll prolly just end up falling in the lava after hitting him once
As much as I love this game, my personal gripe is how “Blinky’s” (Clyde’s) machine is the only machine besides the submarine that’s original. Inky, Pinky and “Clyde’s” (Blinky’s) machines are all recolors with different attacks and higher difficulty.
0:10 Blinky: I really hope the player doesn't find out what they're supposed to do. It would be a shame if they did. 0:53 Blinky: So apparently my first hint wasn't obvious enough as is. How bout I give another hint that's even more obvious? 0:55 Pac-Man: Hmmm... There's something glowing inside that thing's mouth. Maybe, just maybe, if I somehow get the person on the other side of the screen who is playing this game to understand that's where I'm supposed to hit that thing to cause this guy some damage, maybe they'll try it. So I'm just going to assume they're not going to figure out what to do and just give some extremely obvious hints, cause I can actually get away with doing that in this version of the game. 1:57 Pac-Man: So, yeah. Do you remember how I gave you a few hints during the last boss that were blatantly obvious as to what to do? Well I'm going to do it again because I still think it's a good idea if I continue to assume you are still unable to somehow figure out how you are supposed to deal damage to these guys. But I'll probably stop giving away hints after this cause I believe you should be able to find out how to deal damage to the upcoming bosses going forward, sounds good? Although, if there were an easier version of this game I'd probably be allowed, or even required to keep giving away all these hints even though you will have already figured out what you're going to want to do after this.
As much as I love this game, my absolute biggest gripe with it is the fact that they swapped Blinky and Clyde’s names for some unknown reason. The Wiki for this game even says that their names were swapped but doesn’t give a reason why. My personal best guess would be that they planned on hyping Blinky up as a very powerful ghost in the game, and used Clyde as a decoy, and didn’t plan on revealing that fact until the fight against “Clyde’s Machine” but ended up scrapping that and didn’t change the names back; I can’t really think of another reason other then that. Still though, the fact that that’s my biggest gripe with the game should tell you how great this game is. I honestly wish they remade this game instead of the original PAC Man World it’s that good.
It's funny, blinky and spooky are the most unique bosses in the game. While the rest are the same boss with different elements attached. Clyde is a monster though no denying that 😢
@@lorehunter158 Well long story short playa, they accidentally switched Blinky and Clyde's color in Pac-Mania yea I thought this lil error started in Pac-Man Arrangement but nah it's been happenin' since my boy Pac was 7 and up until 2006 is when it finally ended and they acknowledge the criticism towards this error and adresses and fixed in Pac Man World Rally and it was erased from history since now they got it right.
I always found it strange that only one ghost has an animal themed machine while the rest have ghost looking ones. Maybe if the others had other animals that involved gulping things to tie in with pac-man's food theme it would've felt more consistent. Examples that come to mind are a pelican and an anteater. Then it would feel fitting that the final machine they all use together is a big whale!

When I played this as a kid, Clyde's Machine was the first time I ever raged at a video game in my life.

Spooky is such a great antagonist! He goes the extra mile to cause mayhem, he wishes to kill the Pac-people, AND he's hell-bent on it!
Bosses [NAMES CORRECTED]:
0:00 *Clyde* 's Frog
1:41 Inky's Saw
2:50 Pinky's Blower
4:29 *Blinky* 's Machine
9:05 Megawhale

As a kid, I could never get past Clyde in the Caldera...
Actually, that's BLINKY. It was confirmed to be a mix-up by the developers.
@@AntasmaTheBatKing I know. I was wondering why the names were swapped.
Me neither he was the hardest boss so hard it took me 8-10 years to finish this game
As a kid, I struggled against Clyde, or rather Blinky when I played Pac-Man for the first time. Took me 10 tries to beat him.
Me either it was hard
Blinky frog
Difficulty: 1(phase 1), 2(Phase 2)
Inky's saw
Difficulty: 2
Pinky's Blower
Difficulty: 2
Clyde in the Caldera
Difficulty: 5
That fourth boss is the hardest level of the whole game.

Blinky didn't tell pacman that butt stomping the glass would hurt him

Permission for a Pac-Man World 3 Gameplay? 🍕👻

@lorehunter158 Blinky is the Red Ghost, Clyde is the Orange one.

And Megawhale that boss was different too
@@watergirl929 Yea but did you notice sum familiar about dat boss tho?
Putting the ghosts as bosses was brilliant, too bad 3 of them are basically the same one...

Clyde was far far harder than spooky. It took 7 year old me a solid month to beat him
@LordKrhiyos If u talkin' bout da Red Ghost, his name is Blinky not Clyde, Clyde is da Orange one
Im watching this video at midnight
Apparently it's 😊
Eu lembro desse jogo quando eu estava no Japão
I think blinky dosent know about not giving hints
@gabrielgrona2704 Da orange ghost name is Clyde
I could never beat the red one he’d always beat the living shit out of me
The red ghost is called Blinky but Namco back then messed up the names and was called Clyde
