Yes a regular topcoat will as well but this is definitely much more fluid and creates greater spread of the colors. But pretty much any clear gel polish when it’s uncured can help create some pretty awesome affects
Thank God for this bc i did my left hand last night and for the life of me i thought i wasnt doing it right, 😂 but i was, i just was doing TOO much and thinking too much about it, so the color i was using would just blend into the blooming gel and just look dumb to me like it didnt turn out right. So i stopped and will do the tye dye effect on my other hand tonight after work bc now 1 hand is done and my other 1 isnt haha
Do you cure your base/clear coat prior? How long? You said you polished the nail white, can you use this over polish and gel? How long do you cure the finish uv top coat?
You may have found your answer to this question by now.. Lol.. But your base coat you do cure,I cure it for about 60 sec to 1 min, DO NOT cure your blooming gel coat though. It needs to be wet in order to create the design/effect you looking for. 😊
Jodie Carelse If the consistency of the paint is liquid enough you should definitely be able to accomplish the same look. Even if it’s a little bit thicker than gel polish as long as it’s fluid might actually even be easier to control because it will likely spread slower 🤔 I totally have acrylic paints so I’m going to check it out and get back to you on my findings 😉
No wonder I didn’t see anything happening with my nails but a mess-I put the clear blooming gel on top of the polish! Lol…there were no instructions or anything 😩 and I had to type in the word clear to find this video bc the others were for the blooming gel POLISH!🙆🏻♀️
Yes I’ve definitely noticed some of these gel art supplies do not necessarily come with instructions on how to use but I do hope this video was helpful!
If the gel polish itself is really thick consistency it’ll be very difficult for it to spread. Haven’t use that brand of gel so I am not familiar with it but really pigmented thick polishes do not spread easy
No 3 diff things. The blooming gel is just used for the layer that you are mixing the color and doing the design I still apply a topcoat once I am done doing my design.
I’ve always use my gel topcoat too because Gelish topcoat is not a very thick formula. (although this one is definitely much more fluid than my topcoat) This is definitely a great solution for anyone who uses top coats that are no wipe top coats or topcoat that just happen to have a thicker consistency because all the brands are definitely different. 💅🏼
Definitely look through my videos I’ve done many on my manicure process, the steps of gel polish, how to polish your own nails. They’re in there somewhere! I’m currently doing a DIY gel manicure series, so I’ll be touching on the actual steps of using the product very soon. Stay tuned!
I use basecoat instead of blooming gel and it actually does the exact same effect!
Yes a regular topcoat will as well but this is definitely much more fluid and creates greater spread of the colors. But pretty much any clear gel polish when it’s uncured can help create some pretty awesome affects

Blooming gel can be used with any regular gel polish or is it a certain polish needed

Hi. What brush are you using?
Are you wearing bridal nails?! They really look GREAT! 🥰💜
Cual es el esmalte de colores para hacer diseños pincelados??
That was pretty cool. I have that gel, but have not taken time to play with it. 👍🏾
Osuntoyin Durrah-Fatunmise play with it!!! Lol
@@TheNaturalNailGuru I must! Lol
hello ! did u use Mia secret gel polish on top of the blooming gel or can u apply any other brand gel polish ? thxx
No I used a Gelish Gel top coat you can always mix and match brands I never have an issue
can you create layers by curing it after you make a design and add another layer to make another layer etc.?
Absolutely! That would look really awesome for a dimensional effect

Beautiful ❤️ are the colors on your plate gel polish?
Yes all of this is with gel polish.
@@TheNaturalNailGuru thanks 😊
Hey :) i just want to know if you can use the nail art paint(which isn't nail polish) with this?
Jodie Carelse If the consistency of the paint is liquid enough you should definitely be able to accomplish the same look. @@TheNaturalNailGuru thank you love❤😘
@@TheNaturalNailGuru i'll wait for your findings😁
No, doesn't work with art paint, with polish works better.
Would you put a base gel down before the blooming gel?
Yes Always start with base coat for gel polish 😉
after you cured your white nail swatch did you top coat them then cure then apply the bloom gel?
Hi! No I did not. Did the color > cured it, put the blooming gel and added color to make the design then cured that and did topcoat at the end 😉
No wonder I didn’t see anything happening with my nails but a mess-I put the clear blooming gel on top of the polish! Lol…there were no instructions or anything 😩 and I had to type in the word clear to find this video bc the others were for the blooming gel POLISH!🙆🏻♀️

I know this might sound like a dumb question but are you using regular gel polish for the color?
Yes I am!
Can you use regular polish with the blooming polish?
Wait a sec...do you mean she is using gel polish to spread out? Not a special marble/watercolor product?
@@kimyoung3541 they mean are you using gel polish or polish that you don’t put in Uber light to cure
Can you add top coat after using this gel??? Or is it a two in one ?
Definitely add topcoat!
Thanks
Do you use paint or regular gel polish?
Gel polish
Why does my 1st coat color gel gets messy after i do blooming gel on top of it?
Hi! If the color coat before the blooming gel is bleeding into the blooming Joan or getting messed up is likely because it is not cured all the way
Is there a way to use this without a Uv light?
Gel polish always requires a UV or LED light to cure. You can do marbling affects with regular polish, but it gets done a little bit differently
Why my venalisa gel polish colours won't spread??I used blooming gel too.
If the gel polish itself is really thick consistency it’ll be very difficult for it to spread. Haven’t use that brand of gel so I am not familiar with it but really pigmented thick polishes do not spread easy
Try placing smaller dots in the blooming gel at a time and see if that helps it move a little bit more
Is it important to use gel polish or we can also use normal nail polish
With this product only gel polish 😉
@@TheNaturalNailGuru thanks
The base coat and the top coat are the all blooming gel
No 3 diff things. The blooming gel is just used for the layer that you are mixing the color and doing the design I still apply a topcoat once I am done doing my design.
Are those color gel?
Can I use regular polish or I have to be gel?
For this definitely Has to be gel.
@@TheNaturalNailGuru u have link that I can buy gel color
Can we use regular polish on top of the blooming gel?
Not really sure what you mean. Do You mean using regular polish with the Blooming gel to create the effect?
After you make the design do you cure it ? Then top with top coat
Simone Indiaa yes!
One more question 😂 can I use acrylic then put the bloom gel on top and do the marble ?
@@simoneindiaaa That should work, just make sure the finished acrylic is filed, not buffed very smooth, so the gel polishes will adhere well.
I use topcoat no blooming gel needed tutor didn't even notice difference
