just a little reminder on the guy at the top, Football players doesn't huddle in the middle of the pitch while the ball is in play to plan on how they score, unless it's a free kick.
answer to comment about players sliding on their knees. Football pitches have irrigation systems. Before each match, the system is active to wet the pitch. Prevents damage to the field, and prevents injury to players. The wet grass makes it easy to slide on yours without getting hurt. But some players have gotten hurt doing it anyways. Anyone who's played at amateur level, knows what its like to fall on dry ground. lol

You can't plan moments in football, that's the beauty of the game. Yes, there are strategies there are tactics, positional play at place but greatest moments are never planned in this beautiful game.
You're the only football fan who has given respectable, non annoying, co commentary of this video. Normally when people do this they butcher the facts or give ridiculous bias' throughout but you didn't.
Soccer is a valid name for the game. The full name of the sport is Association Football, Soccer comes from Association - Assoc - Soccer. The term was not coined in USA, it was coined in UK many many years ago
Penalties are 5-5 for each team, the team that scores highest wins, if after the first 5s are taken and they tie, they each play 1 penalty and first to lose while the other team scores wins
You talk a lot about emotional intensity and the magic of scoring a goal in football, but never point out the main reason for why that is - goal scarcity. Fewer goals mean the importance of each individual goal is way more important than in any other sport. And the goals that are especially beautiful and important stand out more and become even more magical.
Football is called soccer in only called in North America, Ireland(as they have gaelic football) and australia(they have aus rules football)and new Zealand Japan as well. Rest few nations here and there but majorly these regions.
Its hard to become a football fan out of a black box or in older age. You need a home club or your national team to get early in touch with. Then you have big emotions and its the best sport in the world. And no one calls it soccer (maybe the US , but this doesnt count ;)
strange fact: british also invented the word soccer, from association football, but i think due to american football being shown on tv here in the 80s, and americans using 'soccer' it fell out of favour. my earliest childhood in the 70s, soccer and football were more or less interchangable. as a united fan we'll give you 2012. it stopped us saying the oxo stock joke.

watching this as a non northamerican is hilarious @7:18 man hears commentator scream "Messi!" and he says "oh I've heard his name before"💀💀
🙊🙉🙈
You can't plan moments in football, that's the beauty of the game. Yes, there are strategies there are tactics, positional play at place but greatest moments are never planned in this beautiful game.
Well in italy we call it “Calcio” which translates to soccer…
greatest and most loved sport in the world
David Beckham got a Knighthood for scoring a penalty against Argetina
every fucking place call is footbal
You're the only football fan who has given respectable, non annoying, co commentary of this video. Normally when people do this they butcher the facts or give ridiculous bias' throughout but you didn't.
this!!
I will never forgive Gareth bale for the bicycle kick
"I'm introducing football in the proper way" 👌👍
Chills!!!
Just chills
Next time, tell them the stories behind the moments
actually Man City won their first championship in season11936/37 and second in 1967/68 just to be clear
Nobody but he US and Canada call It soccer... Everywhere else is Futbol, Fusball, Football AND other variants
Soccer is a valid name for the game. The full name of the sport is Association Football, Soccer comes from Association - Assoc - Soccer. The term was not coined in USA, it was coined in UK many many years ago
12:44 the fans of the opposing team, Juventus, applaud the goals received by Ronaldo; beautiful football overrides football faith
That is called :" stop on the chest " ❤

Penalties are 5-5 for each team, the team that scores highest wins, if after the first 5s are taken and they tie, they each play 1 penalty and first to lose while the other team scores wins
You talk a lot about emotional intensity and the magic of scoring a goal in football, but never point out the main reason for why that is - goal scarcity.
Fewer goals mean the importance of each individual goal is way more important than in any other sport. And the goals that are especially beautiful and important stand out more and become even more magical.
21:00 he didn't see the ball. Please teach these Americans
Gosh....football has been huge in Africa forever
Football is called soccer in only called in North America, Ireland(as they have gaelic football) and australia(they have aus rules football)and new Zealand Japan as well. Rest few nations here and there but majorly these regions.
Great job guys!!!
Lo.mejor y único q vivirán en su vida Marcadora,Messi, disfruten y ya puedon morir felices
Maradona
Its hard to become a football fan out of a black box or in older age. You need a home club or your national team to get early in touch with. Then you have big emotions and its the best sport in the world. And no one calls it soccer (maybe the US , but this doesnt count ;)
Oh, just watching this with young (15) son. How do they slide?
It's grass. Real grass, not artificial turf.
But yeah, that match was something else.
Rip Pele!
🥺🥺🥺
Super!!!!!!!
Madoridona 14:55 😅
strange fact: british also invented the word soccer, from association football, but i think due to american football being shown on tv here in the 80s, and americans using 'soccer' it fell out of favour. my earliest childhood in the 70s, soccer and football were more or less interchangable. as a united fan we'll give you 2012. it stopped us saying the oxo stock joke.
Now do ultra our way of life ...its really beautiful
We did!
Really I can't seem to find it...do u have a link or something..please
@@StayingOffTopic Good Reaction Guys. When I watched Man City win the title at Newcastle 4/3 in 1968 then I must have imagined it. lol
Also, you could have mentioned that Man United thought they had won it and were celebrating at Sunderland. Controversially when the match was restarted, QPR - knowing that they were still safe from relegation - again hit the ball out for a throw-in and remained in their own half as Clichy and Hart passed the ball near their corner flag until Dean ended the match a few seconds later.
Mexico calls it football and even changed the spelling to adapt it to Spanish, not sure about the rest the countries to the south of us, we call it Futbol.
Football is not soccer, it is FOOTBALL with the feet, not with the hands like the game you play in USA.... You most not call football to the game you play... FOOTBALL IS WHAT MOVES ALL THE WORLD, not just one country
Thank you for words of wisdom.
I'm a little annoyed he did not explain to you 17:39. That is the best Champions League Final and the best comeback ever. They were losing 3-0 at halftime and managed to comeback and win it in Penalties.
Sorry, footballers are more fit than basketball players. Football has NO time-outs. Football has only 3 substitutions per team/match. The football pitch (Field) is 10 times larger than a basketball court.
only passing here and say that messi is the greatest player ever by far far far
Don't only pass by. Relax, and join our Growing UA-cam Family. We would love to have you =)
