"If the C'tan are true gods, why do they come in collectible sets?"
Trazyn probably
"Another fine piece for my collection!" -Trazyn upon learning the shard of the Void Dragon is awake.
counter argument: exodia the forbidden one
(i know it isn't actually good but still)
The C´tan also are in the weird spot of having technically been "made" as the bodies the Necrontyr made for them are also what gave them full sentience to even do much with their status.
Without that they would have remained just a sun nibbling phenomena.
CHRIST is GOD
@@Bannanaju007 Christ? The God Emperor outdone Christ a hundred fold, you fool of a heretic!
Not just did he unify Terra, he also lead the Great Crusade and guides the people through the Warp with the Astronomican, making save Warp travel possible to this day! Not to mention the Primarchs or the Space Marines, that he invented in his glorious wisdom.
The claim that "Christ is God" is a heresy that undermines the singular divinity of the Emperor. The Imperial Creed teaches us that the Emperor is the one true God of humanity, and any belief that detracts from this truth is heretical and a threat to the unity and stability of the Imperium.
Let's examine why this heresy is untenable:
-Historical Inconsistencies: The figure of Christ, as purported by ancient Terran religions, lacks the historical and empirical evidence that underpins the worship of the Emperor. The accounts of Christ’s life and supposed divinity are based on texts that were written centuries after his death, shrouded in myth and lacking the rigorous documentation that accompanies the Emperor’s deeds.
-Absence of Divine Power: Unlike the Emperor, whose godhood is manifested through tangible and miraculous acts, the so-called miracles attributed to Christ are limited to localized events with questionable authenticity. The Emperor’s influence extends across the galaxy, and his divine power is evident in the very fabric of the Imperium’s existence.
-Theological Conflicts: The doctrines surrounding Christ introduce concepts such as the Trinity, which are convoluted and inconsistent with the clear, unambiguous divinity of the Emperor. The Imperial Creed provides a coherent and unified theology that emphasizes the Emperor's role as the sole protector and guide of humanity.
-Lack of Continuity: The Emperor’s presence and influence have been continuous and unbroken, even in his current state on the Golden Throne. In contrast, the figure of Christ represents a transient and fragmented presence, with no ongoing tangible connection to the current state of humanity or its survival.
In conclusion, the God-Emperor of Mankind is the one true divine being worthy of worship and devotion. His acts, both historical and ongoing, affirm his godhood beyond any doubt. To entertain the notion that "Christ is God" is to invite discord, weaken the fabric of the Imperium, and to turn away from the light that has guided humanity through its darkest hours. The Emperor's teachings and his divine presence are the bedrock upon which the Imperium stands. Any deviation from this truth is not merely heresy -
*it is a betrayal of all that the Emperor has sacrificed for us*.

Malal. Obviously. So powerful he escaped Canon.
The old ones are probably the closest thing to actual gods. They seeded the entire galaxy with new life. Creating or seeding the biggest empires that are known to the imperium. They also defeated the Ctan before the necros were tricked by the Ctan.
Matt Ward whose love of the Ultramarine blueberries and their Plot Armor also makes Deathskull orks "lucky".
If Nagash somehow manifested in 40k from so much death in the galaxy he would become a god of chaos.
He would bee a necron
If nagash manifested he would have every eldar on his side since they've been trying to wake up Ynnead which is a god of the dead
@@thefourth2484 That's a scary thought and totally plausible.
One second of being in 40k, and Nagash overpowers literally everyone (makes sense, he is the true ruler of the worlds, ALL HAIL NAGASH)
If the sheer act of death would birth a god of chaos I’m pretty sure the war in heaven would’ve birthed it, maybe it did, necrons said fuck that and built pylons
Gork & Mork, they give you dakka, reincarnate you, get you to the best scraps and can krump anyone who says otherwise. They are the best.
He is gone but not forgotten. his hatred has only increased. The ones who know fears his name. He is malice!
Dumb theory: *Malice is the emperor because Malice hates all the other chaos gods, and the emperor does as well.*
The c‘tan or old ones are the closest thing we get to true gods, both were stomped by necrons.
Srsly without plot armor the necrons would just lvl every thing
It's less about plot armor and more about logic. The necrons weaponry was for a war far beyond any currently going on.
A better way to look at it is the Krork compard to space marines. Both were last ditch genetic engineering of super soldiers, and yet a genetic defect of a subspecies of Krork that's massively regressed in power(the beast), fought vulkan to mutual death. Krocks would floor the sons, and likely their chapters with them.
My point is that the weapons the necrons developed were to take out much greater threats, wiping out a star system was considered justified for a single powerful target, let alone taking out a strong hold, etc. They had weapons that destroyed all of a targets biological matter not to sound broken, but because that was the only real way to take down shit like kroks. If a golden boy could fight with some if his brains blow out, imagine those mofos.
It's like if we gave cave men nuclear missles they could fire, but no automatic weapons etc. They would be both a massive threat, and nerfed since it's always a MAD doctrine if they fight back.
There’s only one true unkillable God made flesh in 40k….Sly Marbo

Obviously the EMPEROR
Nah ya midwit, it's fucking Blackrock and other investors of GW lmao
The thing controlling the tyranids hivemind from another galaxy
Still a theory but the "True god" of warhammer series(40K, Fantasy, Age of Sigmar) is actually called in several books as the Potential.
Yes. There is a point in the siege of terra where malcador mentions something like that as well. But as a sort of passiv source of power that fuels both reality and all in it cahtan included as well as the warp and all in it. I think he called it Potential as well and basicly explains that both through action and ritual or veneration of something or by means of creating anything you use bits of this third major realm of existence that is limitless in it‘s power and omnipotent and you transform the potential you took by means of your action or veneration or psyker/warp powers and you turn it into something on your plane of existence. Or a psyker power‘s effect.
Basically the way it would work seems to be
Potential
Split up into
Realspace:
With the cahtan as the „gods“ for it and the power to use science and the like to create and build bit also destroy. Sort of „power of science and creativity“
And
The immatyrium and the warp:
With the chaos god, warp entities and the like as the „powers of the soul“ that can are a mirror of all the minds, souls and feeling all the non touchable things in realspace.
And since these two sides are the opposite to one another they are kinda the counter to each other. Science and a lack of belief in gods will weaken the non-material and the lack of understanding and progress is what empowers the same powers and weakens the powers of the material world.
You could see it as too magic systems that hardcounter each other but cannot be at full strength in the same time period. The necron and cahtan tech seems just as much like magic as a spell by magnus does, but it is more or less the exact opposite end of the spectrum. That‘s also why necrons are weak to psykers and demons can be easily trapped by necron tech from the cahtan.
The Emperor
Alright next question
No lol it's Games Workshop or even Blackrock
Enjoy your female coomerstodes but less attractive, at least the fanworks by Majorkill's studio is attractive and worth the penny unlike what ever GW going to portray femstodes be like XD

Tzeentch. Always Tzeentch.
Sorry but my Bolter Gun thinks otherwise.
Quote from page 238 of Horus Rising, a conversation between Kyril Sindermann, Chief Iterator of the 63rd Expedition Fleet and Captin Gravial Lokan of 10th company of the then loyal Lunar Wolves goes as follows:
"There are no gods in this hollow universe. We have searched the heavens and found nothing but ourselves. No divinity shapes our destiny, no deity watches over us. Our fate lies in our own hands, our salvation and our destruction both. It is we who built this Imperium with blood and iron, and it is we who must protect it, for there are no gods to do it for us."
The chaos gods are the gods of negative emotions and aspects, the catan are the gods of reality, the tau god is the god of positive emotions and aspects.
Why cant the tyranids be used to fight the chaos gods by destroying 90% of humanity, thus removing the human emotional outcry in the warp spawning the chaos gods.
Humans aren't the only thing feeding the chaos gods. Most of them were around before humans were a blip. The eldar and many others feed them
"I will have your head for such heresy. Not the true god you say?! The god emperor's wrath will be upom you, heretic. For i am here."
Some inquisitor maybe
Grok n Mork like I mean there’s trillions of Orks who all completely believe in either Gork or Mork and the Orks are a good contender for the single most chaotic race just because of how cracked they can get when properly amped up. If Gork n Mork ever stopped beating the hell out of each other and focused for once they could easily turn both the warp and real space to their own whims without much trouble.
in my headcanon i like to imagine the chaos gods are running from something so incomprehesibly horrifying deeper in the warp so they are trying to get to the material universe
Something had to manifest the chaos realm itself, as their realms are just part of the chaos realm itself n the Warp, and the Warp is meant to be a pathway, not a realm itself, so that means something made the chaos realm in the Warp purposely.
Cegorach probably. He's just looking at everything going on and laughing his ass off.

I wonder what part of reality the Flayer represented before his demise.
My friend has an interesting theory. He maintains that the Flayer was a guardian between reality and the Warp, that his purpose was to flay a soul of it's emotions before allowing it rest in the eternal sea of souls. By destroying Llandragor, the Necron inadvertently allowed souls to carry their emotions into the Warp and so, in time, these congregated into the Chaos gods and daemons that now plague the galaxy. Its a nice theory, if full of holes. Take it as you will.
@@Gillemear I like it! For lack of a better theory at the moment, I accept it as headcanon.
Plus it kind of fits thematically with, if I'm remembering my Aztec muth right, there is a god also referred to as "The Flayer" who created the world by flaying their own flesh and using that. So there's KIND of a parallel of you squint hard.
@justinweber4977 Nailed that one on the head. The Aztec god you are referring to in Xipe Totec, a god of fertility, agriculture, lethal warfare (as opposed to non-lethal combat for sacrificial victim collection purposes) and crafts such as smithing. The flayed aspect of his nature is thought to have links with the outer husk of a maize planet and its removal to get at the corn within. He was also connected to diseases which effected the skin (boils, pimples, rashes etc), maybe a 40k universe connection to Nurgle! Flayed skin was supposed to have curative qualities and the emergence of a priest from beneath a cloak of skin flayed from sacrificial victims represented the emergence of life giving plants from the barren earth with the spring rains.
I wonder could any of this be linked to Llandragor? The Nurgle connection or possibly Isha, the Aeldari goddess of life, may be a fascinating aspect of the flayer that has not as yet been explored!
@@Gillemear Wow, a lot more to them than I thought, and definitely the possibilities for some really interesting connections that could be explored!
Wasn’t just one C’tan actually completely and permanently destroyed and all that happened was that it created the Flayer plague? That certainly sucks for the Necrons, but isn’t nearly as devastating to reality as turning off all Gravity or destroying the concept of Time.
Orcs are the gods for they already defy all logic and reasoning within the realm of reality
