I loved Touch Me as soon as the first chorus began. That one is somehow more nostalgic to me even though it objectively should fall in line with the rest of the songs they make. Still, that one seems extraordinary to me 😁 Also, man that would be amazing if there was a dedicated synthwave station. By every metric the genre is fully deserving of it. Also it would be a big step forward in the growth of the genre in reality, when more uninitiated people are exposed to the sound through that game.

Hi Jonathon, I'm a new viewer from the UK and I watch every time you upload. I love 80's synth myself especially At 1980 and Josh Dally. My Spotify playlist mostly consists of 80's synth and ballads as I simply can't get enough of those synth sounds aha. A couple more of At 1980's stuff would be good to review. I've mostly listened to every song of there's and Josh's while we wait for the new Album next year which I'm excited for!.

I'm in the middle of listening to their whole album now... Touch Me instantly won me over and got added to my personal playlist. I also liked Unspoken Mind and So I Stay a good bit. I'm afraid i have an issue with one of the songs though- Strangers has the exact same beat in the chorus as the song All Night by Prizm. It's in a different key, but otherwise it's the exact same music, I'm not kidding. I'm still researching but it looks like one band copied the other one's homework for sure. None of the names in the full song credits match up yet like it was one person working on both or anything, but I'm still digging here....
There are some similarities, for sure. Both songs have been released in 2019. As usually writing, producing, mastering a song can take a lot of time, it might be a strange coincedence, as I don´t know which song has been released earlier. So in these findings I would give the artists of both bands the benefit of a doubt and don´t think this was done purposely. Not like other guys. Yes, I am looking at you, Waves 2 Waves aka Chris Seviere.

It's like for decades that beat didn't formulate and then it suddenly appears as near identical versions in two different songs in the same year.... Too close a coincidence imo
