I’m an American living in England and watching this video makes me love and miss my people. There were a few hiccups but we got there in the end
The energy Americans have towards Londoners is completely positive vs how Londoners think about us. Even with them looking down on us we talk horrible about them. But you gotta find out ethnicity and talk to the FBA fam.
This is what I started to notice why do you think this is the case ?
London man here born n bred i hardly comment on UA-cam but been watching the videos.
They look down on other cultures as a false of habit. Small island, colonised most the world, even if they are not the lineage of colonisers the attitude rubs off on them. Coming too america was 1 of the first movies I ever watched on vcr. I like the fact uk is grimey cos it helps me appreciate other parts of the world. Americans are way more vibzey and pursue whatever they're into with a passion. Here alot of ppl care what ppl think. Bad diets bad gut health is strife here too. Saying that I see NY are like our long distance cousins. I apologise on behalf the ignorant london yutes you interviewed this generation is truly lost. America has way more influential pioneers that changed the way my generation thinks (born 1990)

He keeps interviewing these New Yorkers and he never asks their ethnicity. A lot of those youths he interviewed are more than likely are not FBA. They come from recent immigrant backgrounds. NYC is an immigrant hub.

@@denisemarcus5633It doesn't make sense for even those two generations in to think they are similar to us or of the culture if the people who raise them are doing so according to their countries’ traditions and values as we do with our own. I had Caribbean friends I grew up with. Eating their cuisine and sometimes listening to their music doesn't make me Caribbean, and vice versa. I even met the man who was the prime minister of Jamaica in 1992 at a high school graduation. However, I am still an Indigenous black American as they are still Afro-Caribbeans who migrated to the USA but may have assimilated just enough to say they are black Americans in conversations. You know…when it is beneficial for them.

New money Londoners developed an accent, which eventually became the British accent we know. New Yorkers loyal to the crown and duke of York switched their accent. Rhotic and non robotic. It's a different for on London accent.
America has the most authentic English accent, with Canadians, that didn't undergo changes, depending on the State.
