Great question Lynee Ward 😊💜 If atropine is not effective, then you have the option to use Transcutaneous Pacing and/or Dopamine Infusion OR Epinephrine infusion. AHA Guidelines will want you to try Atropine first and then move on to other treatments if not effective.
Great question Ingrid Nakole ☺️💜 The 2020 Guidelines state you would give epinephrine after the second shock for V Fib and Pulseless V Tach. You would give epinephrine as soon as possible for non-shockable rhythms such as PEA and Asystole. I hope that helps answer your question.
Appreciate the video! It is well done and easy to understand. A great review for ACLS testing.
I am so humbled by your feedback Lynn Brown ☺️💜
THANK YOU!
☺️❤️
Do you try infusion of dopamine or epinephrine to see if it`s enough to remediate the problem? or you go to pacing if atropine one dose fails?

If the patient is in v fib do you give epinephrine after 1 shock or 2 shocks
