I guess time will tell mate. But it’s rare in this day and age for a song to have the
kind of balance of grove and melody infused with song lyrics that seem to page
homage to the artists roots. A throwback
to the classic soul songs of yesteryear mixed with a little of today’s sound. So
for me, this song has the ingredients of staying power. Though it may never go
mainstream, I see it being appreciated by people who can understand the aforementioned
and respect what’s needed to be a classic. But yeah, great story bro...
Music like this only goes mainstream when it's in a commercial or some shit. Like Tame Impala, they don't make mainstream music at all, but before they were in the bud light commercial, only like indie heads and lsd users knew them, but now everyone loves them. Most of this shit is luck/chance.
