DAMN! Every song was an standout. Amazing FM patches, great rythm and catchy melodies. Takeaki Watanabe was a MASTER of his craft indeed.

He's still very productive with the aliases watson & MusMus.

@@Zaarock fancy seeing you here. I wonder if we'd ever get to crack these old stuffs into discussion with him, or just doing it in 'secret'. I was pretty weary of mentioning his actual name like, us outside Japan are basically 'free' to do unsolicited uploads of these old works, though, it is no secret that Japanese PC games were tongue-in-cheek popular with those sort of potentially embarrassing things, as I tried to play Black Bird with PC98 emulator back then about 4 years ago(sadly my Japanese was waay inadequate to even read pixelated Japanese, now that I can, I lost the files and can no longer find it in internet somehow)

@@cryosleep2 A preset made using FM syntesis, in this case used in OPNA (YM2608) soundchip. There are two trackers nowadays that emulate the hardware on PC, Bambootracker and Furnace Tracker.

Do you have the individual files of these? Or is this just how the midi player displays the musical information?

It's all hoot packs. You can find them along with the player in my public github hoot repo.
