In China, it was called “qi,” the symbol for health. In Egypt, it was called “ankh,” the symbol for eternal life. For the Phoenicians, the reference was synonymous with Aphrodite-the goddess of love and beauty. All cultures across the globe have recognized Copper as vital to our health for more than 5,000 years. In India, people have been drinking out of copper cups for millennia. Even in the Western Countries, copper lines bring in drinking water.
Copper is a natural, passive, antimicrobial material that can self-sterilize its surface without the need for heat or bleach.
The effect looks like magic, but at this point, the phenomena at play is well-understood science.
When a virus or bacteria strikes the surface, they are flooded with copper ions. Those ions penetrate cells and viruses, and it doesn’t just kill these pathogens; it destroys them, right down to the nucleic acids, or reproductive blueprints, so there’s no chance of mutation or evolution and all the virus genes will be destroyed. That’s one of the real benefits of copper.
Using copper doesn’t come with the risk of, over-prescribing antibiotics, and it's the only antimicrobial metal approved by the EPA the Environmental Protection Agency.
It’s time to bring copper back in to our life. In the face of an unavoidable future, we should be using copper in healthcare, our homes, and our bodies.

Good morning! I am considering investing in a 3d printer, do the parts require finishing after coming out of the printer before conductive painting? (sanding or other) thank you!

Hello!!! I use both resin and filament 3d printers and YES, you need to do a little finishing for both. Usually for the resin one, I just sand the support's residue. Pieces coming out of the filament one need to be sanded entirely if you want a perfect surface. Or you can use a thick conductive paint, like I do, that covers all the lines with a loss of details. For a piece like this one in the video without details, I've just sanded the top surface. If you wanna invest in a 3D printer, you should consider what you wanna make: detailed pieces with texture with the resin one or basic pieces with a plane surface with the filament one. The one in the video is an Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo, which is perfect for beginners and for small parts, and it's very easy to use. Here's a link to find it on Amazon, amzn.to/3UGSQUr. The resin one is also easy to use, except for the fact that you have to deal with liquid resins, isopropyl alcohol to wash all the pieces when ready, and after you wash them you need to cure them further with another machine called washed and cure. But you can avoid all these issue by using a water washable resin and do the finish cure in direct sun. You also need to work with gloves and a mask with fume extractor or in a ventilated area. But if you are going to make very detailed pieces, I suggest you to get a resin one... amzn.to/48hY7VC

@@cuforming Thank you very much for your very complete response, I hadn't seen it before! I'm from France, I think that for the use I want (small detailed parts, realistic bird skulls etc.), resin will be more interesting, I'll look into it more closely 😁 thank you very much 🙏
