... ich finde es einfach geil wenn er spielt.... es macht unheimlich Spass ihm zuzuhören.... ist natürlich auch den Stücken geschuldet die er da vorträgt toll gemacht.... 👍👍👍
What too say!? The "The Stumble" is one of my most 'faves' I've heard, many 'The stumbles' in my years age almost 67 now. Freddie, 'Freddy' King made this unforgettable song in the 60's. Many players has in different ways got to know! this song. This' Your PLay is outstanding I just love it! Greetings from Sweden
PLEASE STOP IT, I HAD TO CHANGE MY UNDER PANTS TWICE ALREADY, AWESOME SOUNDING GUITARS, GREAT CHOPS, I CAN TELL YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR AWHILE, CHEERS, COUSIN FIGEL
I never get tired of watching this fantastic vid Michael - absolutely fabulous, incredible playing and as for those guitars...wow! But you know what, if I was going to sell my soul it wouldn't be for any of those gorgeous guitars...it would be to be able to play like you, because with chops like that I could make anything sound good whereas if I had one of those guitars I'd still be a second rate hack player! My absolute favourite version of the Stumble is Gary Moore playing a Heritage Les Paul at the Montreaux Jazz Festival ...and it's clear to me he's been a huge influence on you too!
This to be some of the slickest, most brilliant blues style playing on the whole of YT. An incredible, assured performance on these great guitars by a simply brilliant exponent. If I had to have a fav. it would be the 335.
One of my favorite blues songs ever! RIP Freddy. I really like hearing the different tones of each guitar, but I really appreciate the way he approaches the song parts with his own phrasing, and not just copy catting GMoore, PGreen, or anyone else. He's a special talent.
Excellent playing, my friend. Cheers from Canada.....Love it! Especially my own - the 1964 ES-335! I have the same guitar, but somehow it does not sound the same in my hands.....
Man this video is a music delicatessen. Awesome playing and what a superb range of guitars… cheezus!!. The Firebird and the Les Paul Jr sound amazing, just in case I had to pick two. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It just doesn't get any better than this! Wow. You are amazing! And an inspiration to many of us. Thank you for this video. You made my weekend! Regards from the West Coast of Canada.
Michael you are doing a job indeed! the best guitars the best song, Freddy would be proud, and indeed Gary would tip his hat, even though Gary may have had the crowning achievement. do you care to mention how you are getting that sound into a funky tube channel? amp? Logic Pro? modeling? fender deluxe reverb?
Metal head at heart here but the sweet sound of the 335 got me. Great playing btw! I did a recorded cover, back in 2004, of the Stumble but not nearly as diverse as this.
You nailed this ! Your version and the Gary Moore live version are the best covers of this song ever ... When I play this I have a lot of fun but you have much better licks than me !
Great artistry. I also see artistry within the artistry....in choice of "brush". How many others might have jumped right to bridge pickups all the way?🤔
I really enjoyed this, will watch it again and forwarded the link to a few Stumble fans. Other than Freddy King, I've always dug Peter Green's version but this has a real nice energy and excellent playing/sounds from the guitars. My fave was the Firebird because I was not expecting that tone and it was ruthless! I was wondering: Did you play each guitar with basically the same settings on amp or pedal? Thanks, neat vid!
Great job, your a wicked player. Just a suggestion..you should have played the 68 Strat with less distortion and more treble.( Also turned the amps bass to zero when playing the firebird to sound like Johnny Winter. ) My favorite version of this is Freddy KIngs with Peter green and Mick Taylor's as a close behind.
You have to put Gary Moore's version right up there with Greenie's. A bit better than Mick Taylor's, imho. Freddie King's original is noticeably slower in tempo with that real R&B feel, especially with the horn section. Whoever is playing sax on that cut is the real deal, too. Gary really adhered to the Greenie style and took a bit more liberty with the licks. Such a shame he passed on so young. He was a killer guitar player.
... ich finde es einfach geil wenn er spielt.... es macht unheimlich Spass
ihm zuzuhören....
ist natürlich auch den Stücken geschuldet die er da vorträgt
toll gemacht.... 👍👍👍
Really dig the Firebird tone!!
Yeah...but only with the neck pickup
Bravo Maestro !
What too say!?

PLEASE STOP IT, I HAD TO CHANGE MY UNDER PANTS TWICE ALREADY, AWESOME SOUNDING GUITARS, GREAT CHOPS, I CAN TELL YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR AWHILE, CHEERS, COUSIN FIGEL
That Firebird sounds amazing.

Grtz Vincent from the Netherlands
The first note on the LPJ is unreal!
It sounded great (p-90's and a plain mahogany body). Great playing!

Killer guitars. Really liked the Bird. Chops up the wahzoo, too. Kudos on the playing.

Nice. Great demos😂 such a difference in all of them. I agree wth the guy below. Love the Firebird.
Once those Gibsons kick in, each one seems to lend itself to a different type of playing and the sounds - amazing!
Yes Andrew
Apart from the Humbucker pick-up
It's the body that delivers
Supercool! Besser geht´s echt nicht!
CHapeau bas, Mister!!! Fantastic... :-]
YES Michael!
Outstanding 💫
Loved the Firebirds neck pick-up tone.
But once the 335 entered the dirty, sweaty ring of Guitar Battle.
It walked away victorious with my heart.
Mitch Farkas You sir, are a poet, in it's truest and most unadulterated form. Respect 😎
Riff at 1:38-1:45 is way cool. At this point you sound as good as anyone else who has done this song. Really, that was great.
Fantastic playing. For me, three-thirty-five for days....!

Hi there, thanks for the kind words! Appreciate it! Basically we used different presets for the guitars, but I think some of them were quite similar.
Das ist Grüße Klasse Michael
Michael; I haven't enjoyed a version this much since Peter Green's...
+James Palermo Wow, thank you!
James Palermo really wicked!

Gary was an excellent player, but i think he uses too much distortion for that song.
Oh WOW!
Love the Firebird.
