In this episode I stuff £120 into our short term savings & sinking funds.

@@budgetmamauk we did! They took them out of circulation like a decade ago but I still remember them, I swear I’m not old. I’m 28 (till next week 🤣)

It is a bit addictive!
When I'm out shopping, sometimes I'll think "do I need this, or do I want more to go into savings this week?" 😅

when i did the 52 week challenge i found the £1 coins a nuisance as well so just rounded up each sum to next level up ie...£1,2,3,4 became £5 each, £6,7,8,9 became £10....£21, 22, 23,24 became £25 and so on....was almost £1500 by the end..i think i added an extra £5 at end to round it up. didnt do 52 week challenge this year as finding that money a struggle...so did the 1p challenge and nearly finished it....although finding spare change on my tight budget has been a struggle, but i started it in december 2021 with the goal of using it for my birthday in december 2022 and have booked the cheapest room in andy murrays hotel for two nights and will still have some left over for meal and drink...can hardly wait and will do again for my birthday 2023
