  • Very rough take of a new song. Copyright 2011 by David Whitwell.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This one is my second song for Judith,
Let it please salute her like the first.
It's humble and as simple as its writer,
Should tomorrow bloom I'll pen a third.
Yes, I'm quite aware I hardly know her
So I joined the library of her soul.
The books that Judith stamped are overdue now,
All but 'Guide To Beauty', which I stole.
Judith's learnt to speak another language.
I still find it hard to use my own
But I'm fluent in the tongue of dreaming
When I harvest winter blues alone.
Sidetracked as a snowman in Australia,
My thoughts dwell on Judith overseas.
May the glory in her heart protect her
And I hope she'll maybe think of me.
This one is my second song for Judith,
Sing it like a child would fly a kite.
Should tomorrow end she'll be an encore,
Should tomorrow bloom she'll be alright.
