Very nice! 👍 I suggest you also do some feature overview videos. Also, you can do videos where you list common digital art problems, and show how Artstudio Pro solves those problems. Don’t just show the basics. Show people how they would actually benefit from using ArtStudio Pro. Make a list of features that would be useful for specific types of art, such as comics/manga, painting, animation, etc. Show the ways that Artstudio Pro is even better than Procreate. I think these are things that would get the attention of more people. 🤔
some things that set this app apart for me are the many powerful tools that I don't see offered by others all in one cohesive package. It's a good drawing app with a good engine, but the things such as: - three different types of stabilizers - adjustment layers - pigment mixing - layer filters (outline, shadow, overlay, etc) - many different powerful selection tools make it my go-to app for just about anything to do with digital art :D One feature that may complete the experience is the "gap closer" selection mode similar to CSP. It effectively creates a smooth selection around a shape even if some lines are not fully connected, allowing artists to easily create clean masks for even sketches. It seems to use some sort of radius to figure out how big of a gap is allowed alongside a tolerance for color (like typical magic wand-like selection modes).
Genuinely, a great piece of software, very reliable and generally stable, I use it almost everyday and tbh I love it. Thank you for bringing us this amazing tool
The app will be more relevant if only they request famous artists like TPPO, Muhammed Agbadi, or Rossdraws to make art using this app, and showcase new features like using the pigment option Adding vector tools will be a wise decision, because corporate or freelancing jobs most often demand logos, graphics, and illustrations to be editable for their art teams. That is if this app’s real demographics are people who are being paid to make art and not the hobbyists
hey lucky clan, long time ASP user here, can you tell me how to choose different brush for clone tool instead of just the round ? that is the biggest hinderance for me
To export a zipped PSD tap the three line icon. Tap File, Export, PSD. Turn on Zipped and tap Next. Choose where to send or save the folder. Is that what you are looking for?
I’m looking for that too + the lack of settings in the Text tool is a bit of a shame. Having no letter spacing or line height options may partly explain why the application rasterizes text layers imported from psd files
unfortunately the animation feature works the same way as procreate. can’t really be used efficiently like a normal animation application, but it works for smaller animations so it’s fine.

This app need new marketer, because I don't even know this app if my friend doesn't told me about this app, maybe I'll stay using procreate until now

How do you use the lasso tool?? It’s not moving my art, only the lasso lines are moving.

you can choose a different brush by selecting the brush you want normally and then long pressing the clone tool.
