Just followed the video guide this afternoon on my 2013 C Coupe UK spec, worked a treat, both lights work, turn on when door opens, turn off when door closed. Took 15 mins each side, using the right tools and taking my time and being careful. Excellent guide ! Thanks Flexx

Hi do happen to know the wiring for the rear doors, they are different from the front. Also did you notice that the door lights comes on but very dim a minute after you turn off your car and lock it. Which is a concern for battery drainage and the reduce the life span of the leds.
Great vid man. I owned a 2013 c300(w204) which had the wires and it took less than 10 mins to swap out all 4 reflectors. I just bought a 2015 GLK350 (x204) and no damm wires. If I get the fronts done then the fun really begins to figure out the rears. But this video have me pumped to try the front.
@TheFlexxGarage, amazing video…thank you. I successfully installed the lights from DMP car design on my 2012 W204, C350. They look awesome! Only issue is that the lights go on and off periodically when the door is closed and the ignition is off? While driving not an issue, but when the car is parked, doors locked, ignition off, they seem come on and off.
You just installed the light…or you wired your car like in this video and then installed the light? Not sure what you did since you’re commenting on my video about wiring up door lights on a car that didn’t come with wires.

Hi flexx! Big fan of Ur channel. If U can show us which 2 wires (from the rear door unit) to tap the rear door light to will be appreciated. U show us the front doors n that's really cool but if we want to install the rear which wires to connect to for positive n negative wire.
I recently added wires for the backdoor for my 2018 GLC 300 in the similar process. The wire colors were different (thick Red- positive & thin Blue-neg). What I recommend is getting a voltmeter and check the voltages on the wires before tapping them. I checked to make sure it 12V when the door is opened, and the voltage drop down when the door is closed. Took a while to find out which wire assoc with the door latch, but it is definitely worth it.
