Thailand has a System that repeats itself and creates new Champions.
Philippine Volleyball has Phenoms, Queens, Atomic Spikers and another million nicknames that never made it at International level except one and a half (1 is Santiago and half is Paat).
Thais, Italians, Brazilian have Fans that demand high performance and medals or Coaches and Managers gotta go home. Philippines has Fans that demand to see on court their favorites even when they are injured and did not play a single minute of Volleyball in 5 long months.
Thais, Italians and Brazilians would be shocked if that happened in their National Team. Starting from the personal Fans because if you love someone for real you don't throw her on court when she cannot perform at her usual great level. You protect her from the risk of injury and failure.
The Managers are guilty because they don't manage. They go for the highest number of followers plus a couple of patches here and there.
The Coaches are guilty because they don't coach who they want and how they want but those who are imposed and how the stars are used to.
It is very clear even to the most distracted fan that De Brito doesn't want Valdez in the Team. But ... she must be there, she is Valdez. And now the attention is not on the common interest anymore (the medal), but we just want our most populat to play.

The present coach should resign because he is not utilising very well the players of CCS. Galanza and Valdez are power hitters and they are very talented also. Favouritism is bad for the team as a whole. De brito should resign soonest possible because he doesn't have the championship calibre as a head coach. The proof is the Akari team they cannot enter the championship in the PVL. Coach Sherwin is better!!!
