The storage lid problem is easy to fix. One pair of hingers and a saw. Helped a friend fix his and his wife was very happy. Thanks for the tour, Hope you have a very merry xmas.
I'm sure you're both looking forward to returning to the warmer climes after your Christmas visit to London. In the meantime, thank you for the tour of your boat, proving that no matter what comforts and space you have aboard there are always the odd things that irritate/annoy. On the whole though, its a great boat or, as you put it, "It's a good size for two", haha! Look forward to the beginning of your transatlantic adventure and until then have a very merry Christmas and an exciting New Year, (but not too exciting!).
Great tour thanks, Next time you go shopping for the boat show us what you buy, I love seeing the different foods from around the world. Have a very nice holiday. : ) peace
@@SailingOceanFox thanks for that I will look forward to watching it when you have time to post it. Also let all know west coast of florida marine warnings 7 of them and it is moving north east and it big and windy. : ) peace
AhAhAh don't worry we have other options to store the wine. We just bought a 100 bottles to store as they are very cheap here and so expensive in the Caribbean. Thank you. Cheers
Very nice video of the boat and greatly appreciate your honesty on the Pros and Cons. Have a wonderful and safe Holiday Season with friends and family. Safe Sailing
You have a beautiful Boat, and so well organised and tidy , did you fold all those clothes especially for the video !!?? I think not, I'm sure Carla you keep a Tidy Ship . A very Happy Christmas
"All the channels are in German and that does us no good". Sorry just had to chuckle. I would be lucky to fit the items you have in your bedroom alone in my Catalina 320. Very nice and spacious yacht.
Very nice boat! I suggest you hold the camera always because you have more steady hand and leave all the presentations to the beautifull lady :) Thinking of becoming a patreon. Have fan!
Thank you very much for considering to be our Patreon. We really appreciate all the support as all this "home video production" is costing us more than we thought. Hope to see you there. Cheers
If if watch the first video you will see that we wanted a 440, but things went wrong and by the time we had to buy a boat we only found this one on our budget. But at the end we think we were very lucky with the boat. Good enough for both of us. Cheers
My wife and I looking for a boat to sail cruise the med. stuck on the mono v cat Q. would you recommend cat for med? Im thinking motion on cat is better at anchor and also getting into shallower moorings? I really want to stay out of noisy marinas, away from busy people and make life as easy a possible. main downside I think is cat costs more to buy and run as well as high marina costs. overall what do you think?
Hi, no way in the world we would go back to a mono. As you said it’s much more stable at anchor. We can see the other boats rolling and we are good. The costs are higher but you don’t need to go into the Marina as often. You can be as much sustainable as possible and really Marinas are for running away from the storms only. You will have much more comfort and space than a mono. It’s like taking your house with you. We have friends that just started this life in a mono and are selling it to buy a cat because they can’t stand the rolling at anchor and in big seas. I hope this helps. There is another tour of our boat on Tiny Home Tours. Cheers

Thank you very much. I really appreciate this tips as it is a lot to do in poor conditions sometimes and just hard to be on everything. I will fix that one now. Have a lovely Christmas. Cheers
Thanks for tour that it one heavy cat , the only thing I hate about the modern cats is the weather helm stations in some seas I have been caught in you wouldn’t be helming at all your boat is a surf board , so when you leave to enter the southern ocean you may see what I mean , or hope you don’t but every body does , you have no horizon only water , keep going love the vids

Simon had a lot of experience with monohull sailing, he had 4 boats before this one. I never had experience with sailing boats, thats why we went on a sailing course last year. But catamaran was a new thing for both of us. Cheers

Thank you very much, have a lovely Christmas. Cheers
Excellent boat for rough weather.
Thats been proven on our last crossing. Cheers
Very nice boat, well set out and in immaculate condition. Had never thought about the safety benefit of a mezzanine level helm, makes a lot of sense.
Absolutely, a very good option from Lagoon but some people love the flybridge specially when parking the boat. Thank you. Cheers
Thanks for the video.
Richard Felix Cheers
Nice tour. Thanks !! 😊⛵️⚓️✨🍷✨👍👋 Have to love that Carla smile !!

Beautiful boat and a far better layout than the charter version. The electric winches and decent electronics are a big improvement too. Very nice!
We have upgraded the electrics so it is very good now. Thank you

Question, can you switch the two cushions around, put the short one in the back and the long one on the end?
Unfortunately no, they have special cuts around the sits that don't let you swap around. Cheers
Thank you for the show though of your boat. Just wondering why the 400?. Only interested as considering a cat myself.
If if watch the first video you will see that we wanted a 440, but things went wrong and by the time we had to buy a boat we only found this one on our budget. But at the end we think we were very lucky with the boat. Good enough for both of us. Cheers
Can I ask what brand/model of washing machine you added in the cockpit?
It is a normal one that we brought from home, I think it is an Indesit 9 kgs, just working perfectly.
