Even if it's not tybw this list is still wrong. Yes soifon fought a stronger espada than tosh but not by herself. She would have died a tenfold of times if omaeda didn't distract him. Meanwhile the espada tosh fought actually had to be saved and even before that tosh was actually making hallibel try. Which soifon didn't make barragan do until her tanked her bankai lol
Let's not forget that Gin was pretty damn young when he found Aizen. He was the youngest to graduate the Academy. I'm pretty sure. Gin was on aizens level of intelligence. Both knew each other so deeply that Aizen gave himself a decent challenge by revealing 1 secret about himself and Gin. I feel like he really could of killed aizen if he acted sooner. Gin is just straight up beast.
well, if he act sooner, aizen wouldn't be off guard as urahara pointed out that the second aizen fused with hogyoku he dropped all his caution and starts to fight very sloppy, so if it's base aizen, gin might not even have the chance to damage aizen because he would be on guard.
Komamura is definitely stronger than Tousen pre-hollowfication, Aizen doesn't choose Tousen bc he's super special, powerful or anything, he chooses him bc he's not affected by Kyouka Suigetsu, he's loyal and he hates the shinigami.
Not even for loyalty, it's simply because Tousen shares the same goal as him. And also because Tousens bankai would obviously cause problems for Aizen since he can't KS his way out of it.

Kenpachi at the time wasn't super strong, compared to Tousen, as you can see by him not defeating Komamura straight away as well, also just bc you can't hear or see, doesn't mean you can't "feel" the enemy, after Kenpachi slashes Tousen and lets him go, Tousen tries to attack him again, but Kenpachi is able to defeat him without being hit. Tousen's Bankai is useless against people that are substantially stronger than him, it doesn't give him any boost, it's really good against someone on the same level though.
@@MaxIronsThird We saw Tousen physically damage Kenpachi when he first slashed him. Like I said, if he went for his head it would've been game over. His bankai is a threat regardless of how strong you are. In Bleach, strength does not negate a sword cutting through you or lopping your head off. The whole "feel" your enemy thing means nothing if the first cut kills you. Tousen cut his shoulder than talked to him and explained his bankai rather than 1 shotting him by slicing his head open. Kenpachi was finished there if Tousen truly wanted to end it. Aizen has no real way of getting out of it either, at least back then, given the fact he was a threat solely for kyoku Suigetsu at that point. Without that ability, he would've died long ago and had no immortality to survive his head being chopped off or split in half. Realistically, the only way Aizen survives Tousen's bankai at that point, is if Tousen chooses not to deal a killing blow like what he did with Kenpachi, or for Aizen to not get caught in it altogether. The only person who can get out reliably is Komamura because of his bankai, or Yama AOE effects (or Shinsui or Urahara with bankai)

Him being able to hax Ascended Aizen is pretty damn impressive, and it makes you think, who else could he one shot with his bankai? Kyoraku? Zaraki? Unohana? Yamamoto? Maybe even pre-Almighty Yhwach? I feel he is slept on in these kind of maybe scenarios, people forget how much of a powerhouse he actually was.

Well he is less rated because we all know Aizen basically let Gin attack him. He knew for a very long time Gin would eventually try and betray him and was just curious to when and how he was going to do it. After fusing with the hogyoku Aizen no longer felt any need to keep his guard up against people. So the only reason Gin attack was successful is because Aizen allowed it. And Gin himself knew that. That's why he waited so long to attack him

I can with full confidence say 2nd release Ulquiorra would chew max power Yammy, spit him out, step on the left overs, and then leave without even trying. And this with the full acknowledgement that in terms of raw power, Yammy probably has more than Ulquiorra, that's how much of an incompetent fighter Yammy is to me.
It makes me sad that so little of Unohana was actually shown. Being such a great captain, it would have been interesting to see all she could do and i believe would have made both the manga and anime series much better. But we are left to wonder what could have been.

Man, i love how wrong people are about Speed. Not understanding and having to ignore specific stuff like Gin saying he is as fast as the speed of sound and other Shinigami reacting to this as if it’stotally believeable, is 1 thing, but ignoring like the generic rule of thumb that if your numbers go WEIRDLY HIGH when you calculate something, that this should tell you something, is a whole other thing? @@nenmaster5218 Power scaling can be weird sometimes because the author themself doesn't always pay that much attention to the smaller details that we analyze, which can lead to inconsistencies. That's why there can be several different conflicting interpretations for how fast the characters are. We go based on which one has the most evidence supporting it, and faster than light is the most easily supported speed range for most of these characters.

Correction: Kenpachi Zaraki did not defeat Unohana as a child, rather he injured her and Unohana knew that he had more potential than she did and she knew that he would eventually surpass her as the real Kenpachi. So she stood down from being the 1st Kenpachi and went into a weakened relaxed state that we see in most of Bleach, he did not defeat Unohana as a child. Great video BTW.
I don’t agree i think he’s stronger than the weakest sure he’s disappointing sometimes, but i wouldn’t say he’s the weakest even before the blood war arc though he definitely needed that Hyperdeath Asriel, age up boost. I do feel Soi Fon, is the weakest, is she could be beaten so easily it’s only her zampacto, that makes her deadly, but aizen wrecked her shit, when i think Toshiro, did better against Aizen, personally.
my only problem with the argument is the 100 year thing is not a bad thing. a 100 years for souls is nothing. For humans, that's a long time, for spirits/souls that like a year in their lifetime.
Might be a toss up to be honest. Gin died before the powerups. Shunsui can only manage to use his bankai where there are no allies around. I think Gin was much stronger than stark when he died.

Shunsui would butcher gin, this list is a bit strange in that regard. Gin is powerful, don't get me wrong, but its been stated that Shunsui and Ukitake both have reiatsu beyond their peers and predecessors (which includes yamamoto and essentially everyone in the gotei 13). While reaitsu doesn't completely equal to how strong you are as a character (as seen with Yammy llargo clearly being weaker than the top 4 espada but somehow is #0), it still does determine the effectiveness of someone's zanpakutou. Gin would not have survived a fight with Shunsui if they were both in bankai.
Kinda torn on Gin. His overall abilities aren't that great, but the true usage of his Bankai is probably one of if not the most lethal attacks we ever saw in the manga.
Haven't watched yet but Gin was chosen to be Aizen's lieutenant because Gin stood a reasonable chance of killing him, and would try, preventing Aizen from going soft. Narratively I think Gin is near the top of the pyramid in terms of lethality if not power
yeah, raw power wise he might not be that strong, but his bankai's ability and speed is absolutely bullshit in terms of lethality, it can definitely one shot people stronger than he is (if it can pierce their defense)
for real. he killed aizen. the aizen that literally surpassed all the other captains by reiatsu alone. we can compare soi fon's ability with gin's bankai. aizen just negated soi fon's shikai ability like nothing. whereas gin literally disintegrated aizen. if it weren't for the hogyoku, aizen would've died there. plus. urahara, yoruichi, and isshin have all made it clear that they couldn't sense aizen's reiatsu. which makes it clear that even if those three used all of their powers, it wouldn't matter. and gin never implied that he's in the same boat. meaning, throughout all the battles, as aizen continues to evolve, gin still senses aizen's reiatsu. which is why he's very confident in using his true bankai on aizen. i feel like, gin's bankai would kill every single one in the gotei 13. even yamamoto. he's the perfect assassin. however, others can counter him by blocking his bankai. but that would be very hard since it was arguaby the fastest zanpakutou ever. maybe yoruichi can dodge his bankai but that's a different topic.
Dude, I had friends who were into Bleach way more than me and I haven’t watched it in years, yet I STILL knew exactly what the “Captains” were referred to in the title of the video. That goes to show how iconic this show was; through osmosis we just know certain things.
Am i the only one that thinks Yama during this arc was stronger than Aizen? It's implied many times that abilities simply do not work on those with superior reiatsu (case in point Barragans vs Aizen, Ichigo vs Nnoitra) - if Yama is aware of any illusions he's cast under by Aizen, they would simply be ineffective as we know Yama also had superior reiatsu to everyone. I also see Aizen having absolutely NO answer to Zanka no Tachi East, West or North.
Depends on the hax some of them like kyoka suigetsu are pretty much unbreakable. It just cause pre Hogyoku Aizen could make it work against Yamamoto doesn’t mean he would of beat him especially in bankai before he evolved

Among soul reapers Ichigo is confirmed to have had greater Reiatsu and it is suspected that the same could be said for Ichibei and Yamamoto, even when considering Hogyoku forms. Quincy technically dont have Reiatsu but use Reiatsu around them and if we consider how much Reiatsu they can use it's pretty clear that Gerard, Lille and Yhwach can use more Reiatsu than Aizen.
Don’t get me wrong. I love Gin and he’s one of my favorite characters. He was undoubtedly powerful. But I think there was a LOT of head cannon involved his placing. I feel like a lot of the argument was made based upon drawing deductive conclusions from statements made by characters. Gin feeling confident that no captain could kill Aizen, but that he might be able to, i don’t think was because of his confidence in his own raw power. But rather he was the only one that knew Aizen’s secret and could get close enough to him to launch a successful counter strike. I think Shunsui would body Gin. Sure Gin was a prodigy but he was also far younger than Shunsui, equating to less battle experience and time developing his skill. Love Gin but personally would’ve put him below Shunsui. Shunsei is more relative to Stark than anything even tho he is obviously stronger than Stark. Gin and Tosen casually being above Stark in there base forms then having a shikai and bankai multiplier on top of that. It is really a stretch to say Shunsei is on Gins level at this point in the story and I agree that headcanon was used to put Gin at that spot it was headcanon backed by feats and statements. You would have to do some real mental gymnastics to even get shunsei on Gins level let alone beat him. I'd love to hear an argument for him tho because maybe I dont know enough about shunsei before the war

Yeah bankai was shown later, but obviously he had bankai for however many hundreds or thousands of years and even in this video he states Shunsui most likely hasn't trained at all between aizen arc and TYBW arc.
@@Uragaan1 he has gotten stronger tho. In karakura town he and ukitake go to fight Yamamoto and he considers their combines spiritual pressure to be borderline transcendent. In the war arc his bankai is borderline transcendent and arguably is because ichigo is the only person around who can sense his spiritual pressure while everyone just feels how cold it is. So idk how but he did get stronger. And when he used his bankai against stark stark wasn't freaking out over how strong it was and he could still sense him so it's weird to argue he didn't get stronger
I disagree on Gin's placement above Shunsui *Only* because you ended up going into his Bankai and how it made war arc ichigo and Askin react, other than that, Byakuya and Kenpachi being below Mayuri is VERY debatable, and the bottom 3 are pretty debatable (at least I think) but other than that I think it's a good list.
Shunsui kinda just wins against any non-immortal thanks to his bankai, he might die as a result but he definitely kills his opponent every time. And honestly Mayuri over Kenpachi makes sense from a scaling perspective, since Pernida no diffed Kenpachi while Mayuri beat him

Kenpachi actively nerfs himself to his opponent’s levels just to drag out the fight, that’s why he lost to Shikai Ichigo, and then can go fight a guy who’s stronger than Grimmjow, who Hollow mask Ichigo just barely beat. At his Arrancar arc peak, both of them fought Yammy, but Byakuya was in Bankai while Kenpachi still had his eyepatch on. Toshiro is still inexperienced at this point, and Mayuri has numerous ways to Incapacitate him, He didn’t say LS Uryu was stronger the EoS Uryu, he said since the Lechtz Stil released all his potential as a Quincy at the time, it could scale all the way up to Uryu before getting the Antithesis.

@@thenightingale7405 He was doing just fine against Starrk in his Shikai, he also was able to fight against Yamamoto alongside Shunsui. He is stated to have one of the highest Reiatsu of the captains, something we see confirmed during the TYBW arc. I really do wish we got to see him in a real fight, although it seems like we may get our wish in the hell arc. Ukitake's Battle data is (out of 100): 90 Offense, 70 mobility, 100 Kido/Reiatsu, 100 Intelligence, 40 physical strength. Toshiro is definitely not considered as strong as Ukitake during the Aizen arc. I'm not sure if he's the weakest, but Hitsugaya doesn't belong near the top of the list, not until the TYBW arc.
I would say the war arc ranking would be great. Ranking the lieutenants, the soul reapers with shikai bellow them, visoreds, and the sternritters would be cool

Unohana never caught my eye back then.She seemed a mother figure always caring and healing others but when I learner about her in war arc I instantly fell in love with her character.she easily killed jaraki many times over without any problem.She is certainly one of the strongest captain.

For example, against straight fighters like Kenpachi or Uryu. I am not saying he will straight out stomp these characters, but he can make a fight difficult for them to defeat him.
I believe you miss a important analyst when ranking captains by power. During the battle between the captains vs Aizen, when soifon was fighting Aizen, she use Nigeki Kessatsu, trying to kill him with "death with two stings". Soifon attack did not work because according to Aizen "A battle between soul reapers is a battle between spiritual pressures. I can easily overcome your silly spiritual pressure with my own." So lets say that if Kenpachi fought Mayuri and Mayuri stabs and poison Kenpachi, it will not be affective because Kenpachi spiritual pressure is leaps and bonds beyound Mayuri.
wow i never realized gin is actually "that" strong. the fact that you can nullify hax abilities as long as you have overly dominant reiatsu says a lot about gin. it implies that aizen cant nullify gin's ability due to gin possibly possessing enough reiatsu to be relatively near aizen's tier... or kubo's having a hard time making sense of the hax abilities he introduced. lol

Honestly, I think Aizen surpasses Yamamoto only in the TYBW arc, where he regains his composture, grows accustomed to his new powers and Yamamoto loses an arm. In Deicide, he got clowned several times, we’re led to believe he’s far above other captains, yet a young captain is able to kill him, forcing him to rely on the hougyoku’s regeneration, and even the other forms, we don’t know how much he got stronger, if any, as Ichigo was just stomping him, and none of his feat compare to a bankai capable of destroying the entirety of Soul Society. Not to mention, Aizen was sealed by a kido after being weakened, if Urahara can do it, so should be the guy that founded and teached at the very same academy that teaches kido. Worse still, Ichigo later on has more troubles than Yoruichi and Urahara fighting Askin in a form stronger than he was after dangai, questioning again their real “power level”. Ah, one thing, I wouldn’t take stock in Aizen’s not being killed being necessarily a feat, with the news we got from the Hell chapter, killing Aizen would be catastrophic, and he’s pretty much neutralised, if even guys like Nanana can defeat him in that state. Oh, and one more thing: Unmasked came out in June 2011, long before Yamamoto’s bankai being revealed @Mugetsu
I mean, I don't see how this really counters statements of Aizen surpassing all Captains and hollows in his Hogyoku form?? Also he was blitzing every captain while in his base, how did he rely on his regen?
Ichigo never fought with askin. He got caught off guard by his ability which both yoru and urahara knew about b4 fighting him. The hogyoku gave the espada their resurrections which are comparable to a 5-10x multiplier i don't see any reason won't be getting that at the bare minimum per transformation The statement about mugetsu came out after the 0 division and the soul king were already mentioned. They wanted to kill aizen but he was immortal Nanana observes an opponent b4 he attacks and ass he pointed out aizen already had openings b4 he shot him

Yamamoto Bankai would’ve put him on an entirely different lvl and we know the stats, hacks, AOE’s, etc. Also, to say Aizen would take down the Zero squad let alone “one shot them” is blasphemous….. I’m sure from what we know and seen they would seal him as easy as Urahara / ichigo did.

Would be a cool "What if" style of video for you to make regarding something along the lines of "What if Aizen never betrayed Soul Society and was around for the Quincy Invasion", because that would mean Urahara would never have been exiled, no vaizards or hogyoku as we know it, Ichigo would likely not exist, etc.
Aizen is a catalyst for pretty much most of the Bleach story so the possibilities would be endless. For simplicity, you’d be looking at a gotei 13 of Urahara w/ lieutenant mayuri, an alive squad 13 kaien shiba, squad 11 remains the same, 10 would have Issin as captian with Toshiro as lieutenant, 9 kaname as lieutenant but stronger than his captain. Aizen of course. Gin is a funny one because he joins the Gotei 13 because of evil Aizen. Even with all this, most of the Quincies would stomp the Gotei baring Yammy and Aizen.

Galaxy Aizen, his new version in BBS, is probably the strongest character in all of Bleach if he was canon. it's basically a further evolution of the Hogyoku but also merged perfectly with the power of his zanpakuto.
Ulquiorra is all three. He has just as much if not more destructive power than a released Yammy. In terms of being able to blow shit up, he's top 10 in the series.
Ulquiorra is the most powerful Espada. One could make a case for Starrk considering he split himself into two entities - if Starrk has an ability to return to his original self and never used it then he would definitely be a the top, but we never saw it so we can't really say. Yammy is a rage-battery... he can store more and more power to unleash at a later point, but that's not quite the same as latent power available on demand. If you apply a timeframe to how long Yammy can spend building up his rage then sure... you could extend the allotted time ongoingly to keep increasing his potential. However, Ulquiorra is able to unleash his full power on command whenever he wants - no prep necessary. On top of this, NOBODY has seen Ulquiorra's second release. Not even Aizen. It's a fair assumption that, had Aizen known of Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa, he would have reserved the number 1 - or 0, whatever - spot for him.

Not saying base non-Hogyoku Aizen can beat Yama, but there isn't any mention or even implication that Yama can neg Aizen, heck I'd even argue that Aizen has more reiatsu than him (though the gap is not big enough for Aizen to neg his flames).
In this case Aizen has been portrayed as a special case even among captains, and how powerful his reiatsu is, he was later even named a Special War Power due to his massive amounts of reiatsu.

Let's not forget that Gin was pretty damn young when he found Aizen. He was the youngest to graduate the Academy. I'm pretty sure. Gin was on aizens level of intelligence. Both knew each other so deeply that Aizen gave himself a decent challenge by revealing 1 secret about himself and Gin. I feel like he really could of killed aizen if he acted sooner. Gin is just straight up beast.

well, if he act sooner, aizen wouldn't be off guard as urahara pointed out that the second aizen fused with hogyoku he dropped all his caution and starts to fight very sloppy, so if it's base aizen, gin might not even have the chance to damage aizen because he would be on guard.
I think Gin's power comes from his scheming rather than his power. He's probably weaker than Byakuya.

Not even for loyalty, it's simply because Tousen shares the same goal as him. And also because Tousens bankai would obviously cause problems for Aizen since he can't KS his way out of it.

Kenpachi at the time wasn't super strong, compared to Tousen, as you can see by him not defeating Komamura straight away as well, also just bc you can't hear or see, doesn't mean you can't "feel" the enemy, after Kenpachi slashes Tousen and lets him go, Tousen tries to attack him again, but Kenpachi is able to defeat him without being hit.
Tousen's Bankai is useless against people that are substantially stronger than him, it doesn't give him any boost, it's really good against someone on the same level though.
@@MaxIronsThird We saw Tousen physically damage Kenpachi when he first slashed him. Like I said, if he went for his head it would've been game over. His bankai is a threat regardless of how strong you are. In Bleach, strength does not negate a sword cutting through you or lopping your head off. The whole "feel" your enemy thing means nothing if the first cut kills you. Tousen cut his shoulder than talked to him and explained his bankai rather than 1 shotting him by slicing his head open. Kenpachi was finished there if Tousen truly wanted to end it. Aizen has no real way of getting out of it either, at least back then, given the fact he was a threat solely for kyoku Suigetsu at that point. Without that ability, he would've died long ago and had no immortality to survive his head being chopped off or split in half. Realistically, the only way Aizen survives Tousen's bankai at that point, is if Tousen chooses not to deal a killing blow like what he did with Kenpachi, or for Aizen to not get caught in it altogether. The only person who can get out reliably is Komamura because of his bankai, or Yama AOE effects (or Shinsui or Urahara with bankai)

Him being able to hax Ascended Aizen is pretty damn impressive, and it makes you think, who else could he one shot with his bankai? Kyoraku? Zaraki? Unohana? Yamamoto? Maybe even pre-Almighty Yhwach? I feel he is slept on in these kind of maybe scenarios, people forget how much of a powerhouse he actually was.

Well he is less rated because we all know Aizen basically let Gin attack him. He knew for a very long time Gin would eventually try and betray him and was just curious to when and how he was going to do it. After fusing with the hogyoku Aizen no longer felt any need to keep his guard up against people. So the only reason Gin attack was successful is because Aizen allowed it. And Gin himself knew that. That's why he waited so long to attack him

That's why there can be several different conflicting interpretations for how fast the characters are. We go based on which one has the most evidence supporting it, and faster than light is the most easily supported speed range for most of these characters.

I don’t agree i think he’s stronger than the weakest sure he’s disappointing sometimes, but i wouldn’t say he’s the weakest even before the blood war arc though he definitely needed that Hyperdeath Asriel, age up boost. I do feel Soi Fon, is the weakest, is she could be beaten so easily it’s only her zampacto, that makes her deadly, but aizen wrecked her shit, when i think Toshiro, did better against Aizen, personally.
my only problem with the argument is the 100 year thing is not a bad thing. a 100 years for souls is nothing. For humans, that's a long time, for spirits/souls that like a year in their lifetime.

Might be a toss up to be honest. Gin died before the powerups. Shunsui can only manage to use his bankai where there are no allies around. I think Gin was much stronger than stark when he died.

Shunsui would butcher gin, this list is a bit strange in that regard. Gin is powerful, don't get me wrong, but its been stated that Shunsui and Ukitake both have reiatsu beyond their peers and predecessors (which includes yamamoto and essentially everyone in the gotei 13). While reaitsu doesn't completely equal to how strong you are as a character (as seen with Yammy llargo clearly being weaker than the top 4 espada but somehow is #0), it still does determine the effectiveness of someone's zanpakutou. Gin would not have survived a fight with Shunsui if they were both in bankai.

Kinda torn on Gin. His overall abilities aren't that great, but the true usage of his Bankai is probably one of if not the most lethal attacks we ever saw in the manga.
Haven't watched yet but Gin was chosen to be Aizen's lieutenant because Gin stood a reasonable chance of killing him, and would try, preventing Aizen from going soft. Narratively I think Gin is near the top of the pyramid in terms of lethality if not power
yeah, raw power wise he might not be that strong, but his bankai's ability and speed is absolutely bullshit in terms of lethality, it can definitely one shot people stronger than he is (if it can pierce their defense)
for real. he killed aizen. the aizen that literally surpassed all the other captains by reiatsu alone. we can compare soi fon's ability with gin's bankai. aizen just negated soi fon's shikai ability like nothing. whereas gin literally disintegrated aizen. if it weren't for the hogyoku, aizen would've died there. plus. urahara, yoruichi, and isshin have all made it clear that they couldn't sense aizen's reiatsu. which makes it clear that even if those three used all of their powers, it wouldn't matter. and gin never implied that he's in the same boat. meaning, throughout all the battles, as aizen continues to evolve, gin still senses aizen's reiatsu. which is why he's very confident in using his true bankai on aizen. i feel like, gin's bankai would kill every single one in the gotei 13. even yamamoto. he's the perfect assassin. however, others can counter him by blocking his bankai. but that would be very hard since it was arguaby the fastest zanpakutou ever. maybe yoruichi can dodge his bankai but that's a different topic.

Am i the only one that thinks Yama during this arc was stronger than Aizen? It's implied many times that abilities simply do not work on those with superior reiatsu (case in point Barragans vs Aizen, Ichigo vs Nnoitra) - if Yama is aware of any illusions he's cast under by Aizen, they would simply be ineffective as we know Yama also had superior reiatsu to everyone.
I also see Aizen having absolutely NO answer to Zanka no Tachi East, West or North.

Quincy technically dont have Reiatsu but use Reiatsu around them and if we consider how much Reiatsu they can use it's pretty clear that Gerard, Lille and Yhwach can use more Reiatsu than Aizen.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Gin and he’s one of my favorite characters. He was undoubtedly powerful. But I think there was a LOT of head cannon involved his placing. I feel like a lot of the argument was made based upon drawing deductive conclusions from statements made by characters. Gin feeling confident that no captain could kill Aizen, but that he might be able to, i don’t think was because of his confidence in his own raw power. But rather he was the only one that knew Aizen’s secret and could get close enough to him to launch a successful counter strike. I think Shunsui would body Gin. Sure Gin was a prodigy but he was also far younger than Shunsui, equating to less battle experience and time developing his skill. Love Gin but personally would’ve put him below Shunsui. Great video though bro!

Shunsei is more relative to Stark than anything even tho he is obviously stronger than Stark. Gin and Tosen casually being above Stark in there base forms then having a shikai and bankai multiplier on top of that. It is really a stretch to say Shunsei is on Gins level at this point in the story and I agree that headcanon was used to put Gin at that spot it was headcanon backed by feats and statements. You would have to do some real mental gymnastics to even get shunsei on Gins level let alone beat him. I'd love to hear an argument for him tho because maybe I dont know enough about shunsei before the war

Yeah bankai was shown later, but obviously he had bankai for however many hundreds or thousands of years and even in this video he states Shunsui most likely hasn't trained at all between aizen arc and TYBW arc.

So idk how but he did get stronger. And when he used his bankai against stark stark wasn't freaking out over how strong it was and he could still sense him so it's weird to argue he didn't get stronger
I disagree on Gin's placement above Shunsui *Only* because you ended up going into his Bankai and how it made war arc ichigo and Askin react, other than that, Byakuya and Kenpachi being below Mayuri is VERY debatable, and the bottom 3 are pretty debatable (at least I think) but other than that I think it's a good list.
Shunsui kinda just wins against any non-immortal thanks to his bankai, he might die as a result but he definitely kills his opponent every time. And honestly Mayuri over Kenpachi makes sense from a scaling perspective, since Pernida no diffed Kenpachi while Mayuri beat him

He is stated to have one of the highest Reiatsu of the captains, something we see confirmed during the TYBW arc. I really do wish we got to see him in a real fight, although it seems like we may get our wish in the hell arc. Ukitake's Battle data is (out of 100): 90 Offense, 70 mobility, 100 Kido/Reiatsu, 100 Intelligence, 40 physical strength.
Toshiro is definitely not considered as strong as Ukitake during the Aizen arc. I'm not sure if he's the weakest, but Hitsugaya doesn't belong near the top of the list, not until the TYBW arc.

Unohana never caught my eye back then.She seemed a mother figure always caring and healing others but when I learner about her in war arc I instantly fell in love with her character.she easily killed jaraki many times over without any problem.She is certainly one of the strongest captain.

I believe you miss a important analyst when ranking captains by power. During the battle between the captains vs Aizen, when soifon was fighting Aizen, she use Nigeki Kessatsu, trying to kill him with "death with two stings". Soifon attack did not work because according to Aizen "A battle between soul reapers is a battle between spiritual pressures. I can easily overcome your silly spiritual pressure with my own."
So lets say that if Kenpachi fought Mayuri and Mayuri stabs and poison Kenpachi, it will not be affective because Kenpachi spiritual pressure is leaps and bonds beyound Mayuri.

Honestly, I think Aizen surpasses Yamamoto only in the TYBW arc, where he regains his composture, grows accustomed to his new powers and Yamamoto loses an arm. In Deicide, he got clowned several times, we’re led to believe he’s far above other captains, yet a young captain is able to kill him, forcing him to rely on the hougyoku’s regeneration, and even the other forms, we don’t know how much he got stronger, if any, as Ichigo was just stomping him, and none of his feat compare to a bankai capable of destroying the entirety of Soul Society. Not to mention, Aizen was sealed by a kido after being weakened, if Urahara can do it, so should be the guy that founded and teached at the very same academy that teaches kido.
Worse still, Ichigo later on has more troubles than Yoruichi and Urahara fighting Askin in a form stronger than he was after dangai, questioning again their real “power level”.
Ah, one thing, I wouldn’t take stock in Aizen’s not being killed being necessarily a feat, with the news we got from the Hell chapter, killing Aizen would be catastrophic, and he’s pretty much neutralised, if even guys like Nanana can defeat him in that state.

Ichigo never fought with askin. He got caught off guard by his ability which both yoru and urahara knew about b4 fighting him.
The hogyoku gave the espada their resurrections which are comparable to a 5-10x multiplier i don't see any reason won't be getting that at the bare minimum per transformation

Would be a cool "What if" style of video for you to make regarding something along the lines of "What if Aizen never betrayed Soul Society and was around for the Quincy Invasion", because that would mean Urahara would never have been exiled, no vaizards or hogyoku as we know it, Ichigo would likely not exist, etc.
Aizen is a catalyst for pretty much most of the Bleach story so the possibilities would be endless. For simplicity, you’d be looking at a gotei 13 of Urahara w/ lieutenant mayuri, an alive squad 13 kaien shiba, squad 11 remains the same, 10 would have Issin as captian with Toshiro as lieutenant, 9 kaname as lieutenant but stronger than his captain. Aizen of course. Gin is a funny one because he joins the Gotei 13 because of evil Aizen. Even with all this, most of the Quincies would stomp the Gotei baring Yammy and Aizen.
I knew Chair sama would be at the top.. dude literally got stronger just by sitting in the muken, even able to somewhat hold Ywach with just 3 seals opened 😱😱😱

Galaxy Aizen, his new version in BBS, is probably the strongest character in all of Bleach if he was canon. it's basically a further evolution of the Hogyoku but also merged perfectly with the power of his zanpakuto.
I wouldn't say that Ulquiorra is more 'powerful' but he's definitely more capable and more dangerous.
Ulquiorra is all three. He has just as much if not more destructive power than a released Yammy. In terms of being able to blow shit up, he's top 10 in the series.

Ulquiorra is the most powerful Espada. One could make a case for Starrk considering he split himself into two entities - if Starrk has an ability to return to his original self and never used it then he would definitely be a the top, but we never saw it so we can't really say. Yammy is a rage-battery... he can store more and more power to unleash at a later point, but that's not quite the same as latent power available on demand. If you apply a timeframe to how long Yammy can spend building up his rage then sure... you could extend the allotted time ongoingly to keep increasing his potential. However, Ulquiorra is able to unleash his full power on command whenever he wants - no prep necessary. On top of this, NOBODY has seen Ulquiorra's second release. Not even Aizen.
It's a fair assumption that, had Aizen known of Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa, he would have reserved the number 1 - or 0, whatever - spot for him.
@@pafu015 i think unmasked implies that secunda etapa is something ulquirra "achieved" instead of being granted by aizen, which make sense considering how different it is from ulqui old VL form

Something that makes soi fon low ranked is her shikai has no effect on those with higher reiatsu thus barragon, stark, and Harribal are all immune to her shikai
Thus her shikai which would give her an edge over strong opponents can’t even touch them if they have high enough reiatsu

Definitely think you should make a part 2 with the most current iteration of the captains and their power at the end of the series
