    Wow
    Looks easy on your video, my 2002 es300 makes all the loud noises when I put the heat on this winter and I am thinking of replacing it if it still makes the same noise when summer sets in myself as a DIY person.

      I’d say around 2.5 feet but maybe I need to get a tape measurement lol I forgot the name of the brand but if your curious let me know and I’ll find it

    I can’t get the belt back on the alternator for anything idk why it’s so hard I dropped the alternator all the way I about took the bolt off completely already..I’ll keep trying tho

    • @PZPal
      @PZPal  8 місяців тому

      Yeah, it wasn’t too easy even after dropping alternator. Try to maybe mount it on pulley a little and then use that as leverage to pull it further in

      Remove the motor mount and the links so you can have more room to be able to see the pulley and reach in there.

    Was yours screeching really loudly? And was it only one belt to replace?

    • @PZPal
      @PZPal  Рік тому +2

      User had issues before with belt during AC compressor working. That was the only one I replaced.

      @@PZPalHey. Just letting you know we replaced his belt yesterday and had 0 problems. It was actually harder to get the old one off, the new one slipped on pretty easy with a little cussing and elbow grease. Thanks again for the video.

    Misleading video. I don’t know how he got the belt on with his bare hands but I couldn’t do it and two mechanics I talked to both said you need tools. They don’t have a tensioner on the cars so it’s not the same as other models.

    • @PZPal
      @PZPal  10 місяців тому

      The video shows how to release tension. Not sure what other tools you are talking about.

      I got mine on with bare hands. Slightly difficult but not much.
