I have a shanghai built tesla model Y, the centre console door is spring loaded, it should slide after pressing. Looks like that one is faulty.
I kinda figured, so it's the same as my U.S. built Y. Luckily that one was a rental ;) Solid build otherwise. Thanks for watching.
Aussie cars are coming in from the Shanghai factory and haven't seen any complaints anywhere, so I guess they do a good job. Funny it's the Euro version and the rego plate ends TX ... that tickled me lol OMG someone took the toilet roll! lol "No exhaust pipes" LOL

I am invested in Tesla and own a Tesla M3 standard and I have solar panel in my house. My neighbor has a Tesla so i let her charge for free. I am making more power than I consume. Time to replace water heater with electric with heat pump and dryer with electric to dryer and one gas stove. Then I will be CO2 zero when using energy. Saving the planet one step at a time

Thanks for the comparison. That centre cubby lid is supposed to glide backwards to a close when you give it a little nudge. Also, would’ve loved to have seen the gap of the trunk/tailgate lid. The Fremont Model Ys are notorious for having the left side of that tailgate having huge gaps in comparison to the right side of the same vehicle. Cheers

@@TeslaTipsTrips My comment was a little supercilious, but I did keep thinking you had no need to rely on memory when your own UA-cam channel has plenty of excellent video of your US made Model Y, and you clearly have access, even in Europe!
Hmm? What about the giant crack or whatnot in the windshield? At only 1,300 KM, it is a shame that the windshield cracked - at least it looks like a crack on the video.
Yup. Cracked within 15 minutes after we picked it up. Rock. Video coming soon.
A rock can happen anytime. I used to do auto glass and plenty of times customers came back within a day or two with another broken windshield. It's just bad luck
