      @@Twitchte He means that saying "Not just any Stradivarius" is something ridiculous to say as all Stradivari's are extremely rare to get your hands on. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see or play any Strad and this one just happens to be slightly more rare.

      Some Strads are worth more than others in sound and make. Take a Golden Age one vs an early Strad for example.

    • @AyaanAhmad
      @AyaanAhmad 3 роки тому +2

      @@peterdeck2696 True, but all strads are extremely high quality and the ones made during his Golden Age are just his peak of instruments. Saying "not just any Strad" makes them sound like every day items.

    Kavakos can play a Yamaha chinese version violin and still would sound 10000 times better than many stars today....many. Far too many....
    Talking about violins is only making himself interesting...

    • @bennyblanko3

      Yes, that band that holds the top of the case vertical stretches a little, and the staples come a little loose, and then the super anoying thing wanting to fall back happens. It just needs to be adjusted very slightly, and it won't do that anymore. Sometimes a little glue, or maybe another staple. I'm talking, but mine does that too ... heh heh ... and I've even fixed it before.

      @@rlkinnardThey are better, of course not a lot better than modern high-end violins but the better listner you are the more difference those little improvements make. You also obviously can't hear it in recordings, you have to actually give it a listen in person. You are also missing the point, I'm sure some of the best modern violins might be even better than Stradivari's ones but they are better because they perfected what Stradivari has started. The guy was a genious that pushed the entire industry forward.
