Very true. When she was first introduced in 2008, a lot of people didn't like her. She was a bit of a brat back then. It only made her growth into the character she is now more satisfying. We got to see her grow and mature. Her character arc is brilliant.

@@starkdilemma4916 I love Star Wars for what it was, not what Disney has turned it into. I do not acknowledge the sequel trilogy, any of the woke Star Wars content Disney has created, and if the Ahsoka series isn't handled right, then I will not acknowledge it either. My coping mechanism is treating Disney's bullcrap as non-canon.

Don't be fooled just because they're animated, The Clone Wars and Rebels, both contain some of the best Star Wars content around, as well as provide a majority of the lore, history, backstory and context, that was missing from the films.

Yeah. Clone Wars in particular does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to fleshing out and lifting up the "big picture" of the Prequel Era's overall storyline and key character arcs. Ahsoka isn't just a great character in her own right (though she is that!), her part in the story also does a lot to make Anakin/Vader's fall to the Dark Side make more sense.

The Clone Wars took mediocre movies and made them good. That series truly fleshed out the prequels and made them good. Then comes, what I argue is the best star wars movie. The final 4 episodes of season 7. Those were clearly meant to be a movie, and the well timed tie in with episode 3? Masterful! I've got the Vulcan-esque emotional armor that comes from being aspy, but that ending broke right through. As did Rebels in the episode that ended with a black and white title card and no ending theme....

Ahsoka is legendary. She is THE fan favorite in Star Wars! You were emotional during this? Imagine the emotions those of us who have been fans for years. She's incredible. And the most profound thing is that at the start, when she was first introduced in The Clone Wars, people HATED her. But now she's the most beloved character there is. Personally, I loved her from the start. But that was probably because I grew up with her. We were both young and sassy, and we both grew, and she became someone I could look up to in my darkest moments. I'm so excited for her live action series to come out next month!
Dude, now that you know about Ahsoka, you need to watch Clone Wars so you can get the FULL picture and see how she got from being a beginner Jedi apprentice to the lone wolf warrior of justice she is now.
Also, that "I am no Jedi" line she says when facing off against Vader? We all screamed and bawled our eyes out when that episode first aired and she said that. The weight in it is so much more when you've spent years being a fan of her character. That line is now probably one of her most recognizable and beloved lines, and no matter how much we've quoted it over the years, it'll never lose its impact ❤

Ahsoka is truly a beast one of the strongest characters in the franchise. She was anakin only apprentice who was framed and the order turned on her. Even after her name was cleared she saw the flaws with the Jedi order and left. She was pretty much like the younger sister of anakin and niece of obi wan and rex with how they act around one another.
Then growing up to fight the empire behind the scenes shes a badass.
Only thing I need now is for them to make starkiller cannon so ahsoka and Galen can meet.
Starkiller or Galen Marek is the apprentice of darth Vader in the force unleashed games dude is probably the most op character in Star Wars with his defeating multiple Jedi masters, darth Vader, the emperor, and pulled down an entire Star destroyer outta the sky.(luke and leia too if you want to go into alternate timeline dlc).
They would have to severely power him down to add him but his story is great. His va Sam Witwer is completely down to play the role and is an excellent actor, hell you already saw some of his acting chops in the video he va’s both maul and The emperor in rebels for abit

I love her purely represented by this one line “I’m no Jedi”. She’s the best representation of what is called a grey Jedi in the current canon! And the grey Jedi are often the best characters to me! The religious zealotry and over bearing good of the Jedi always rubbed me the wrong way because they’re so good to the point of pompously being above others which often is the cause of most tragedies being allowed to happen when they could be stopped in the Star Wars universe! I love the Grey Jedi because they often have the views and morality of normal people Ie the viewer. They use their powers for their own moral code and don’t follow they make their own path. They’re often the most relatable and liked starwars characters! And the greatest part about the grey Jedi is they can lean more to the dark side of morality without being fiendishly evil and still be relatable. There’s one particular one from Knights of the Old republic while not having these somewhat evil moments. I love his “I’m just done with peoples shit vibe” he has a general lack of care about doing good to just do good and often times is okay with doing good but is always like is this REALLY our problem and do we need to interject ourselves into it. Which is an entire vibe that I tend to get when I’m beaten into the dirt enough. Like I get it.

She was then trained heavily by Anakin and Obi-wan to fight Sith until she was an adult and left the Jedi. She's one of the most skilled fighters in the universe. She also has pure white lightsabers because she's even more lightside than the Jedi.
My favorite Star Wars character besides Vader.

  • @adriankuban2904
    @adriankuban2904 10 місяців тому +1

Anakin's descent into darkness was well portrayed.
Because some Jedi never completely loved him, didn't respect him, didn't trust him, didn't take him seriously and even despised him.
As a child before Obi-Wan started teaching him, he was hated and psychologically bullied by other children "Anakin is a slave to his feelings" and that was only because of envy because he was much more gifted and skilled than them.
    .
    .
    .
And many other things and sufferings he and his padawan, Ashoka Tano, the Jedi like to cause.
Yoda during the Clone Wars, he met the spirit of Darth Bane in Sitt's tomb, which is created by the rule of two.
And later in his visions he saw Anakin becoming Darth Vader and didn't do anything about it because I thought it wasn't worth it.
Anakin was a slave all his life - Tatuine, Jedi, Love, Dark Side.
He became a father figure to Qui-gon Jinn, during his stay in the temple he was psychologically bullied and called by others "Anakin slaves to his own feelings", he lost his mother, the Jedi never married him all the time and without proper evidence he accused Ashoka and caused her to leave and finally he was afraid of losing Padmé.
The only and worst support given the events was Palpatine who was a fatherly substitute for Anakin from the beginning.
When he used Mace Windu's hand and after killing the Jedi he was already in the dark as the dark side itself showed him to the planet Mortis The One Son.
On Mustafar, Padme almost got him from the dark side, but Obi-Wan discovered him and screwed it up.
Anakin "Vader" built his castle on Mustafar and thanks to the two sbosobs he tried to revive Padmé but he could not see it due to the fact that Luke and Leya were already born, they were the only ones preventing it with their existence.
Too bad he didn't find "Word between Wolrds" on the planet Lothal. He would create an alternate Reality or go through all of history. ;)
    .
    .
    .
You have to find out about the lost 20 Jedi like Count Dooku, about the fates of Jedi with the ability to see the future, young apprentices who were not taken by any Jedi masters to learn, who showed little talent for the force and were not shown to the temple which in some cases was quite drastic, . ..
Blinded by ego, aronance, pride, absolute help to people and not following the path of forces.
Honor to the exceptions and one of the true Jedi was Master Fey.
The Jedi and the Fallen Jedi (Sith) have betrayed the memory and message of their common ancestors of the Je'daii Order by their actions and the endless battles of their Civil War. 😊
May the force be with you.
And may you lead the force. 🖐️

I feel like to really appreciate Ahsoka, you need to watch the clone wars from the beginning (The movie first, followed by the series). She's probably the most developed character in Star Wars history.

Jedi Master Adi Gallia wielded this lightsaber during her time as a Jedi Knight and possessed it after she was made a Jedi Master and eventually a member on the Jedi High Council, wielding it on many battlefronts, including Troiken in the Stark Hyperspace War in 44 BBY and the galaxy-wide conflict known as the Clone Wars in 22 BBY until her murder by Savage Opress on Florrum in 20 BBY.

As an Old SW fan since 1984 when I was old enough to watch the Original Trilogy, Star Wars has had some epic deep rooted moments of Good vs. Evil, Hope, and finding your path. It's a timeless and epic tale. But if there was one thing I learned is introduce a new Character like Ahsoka and let it breath like a good bourbon or a fiber wine and it will become one of the greatest parts of the whole. The new Ahsoka series next month is going to pick up this journey she has been on and grown into oneof the greatest Star Wars and any media's best Female characters who earned the praise and love of millions.

Growing up with Ahsoka during clone wars and seeing her development was something to appreciate. She’s fought with best of the best and has led a lot of important missions. This why it pisses me off to see how Rey becomes so strong so quickly. She didn’t do anything to deserve that kind of strength compared to Ahsoka. Disney better not mess up the new series!

We like her because of the character growth. In the beginning Dave made her intentionally annoying asf, just so we could watch her grow and her relationship with Anakin grow. The character development over the years is insane. We love her because we have seen her rise and fall and rise again...we got to see her failures and her victories..the impact she had on Anakin and the Clone Wars was crazy.

  • @daviddavies3637

Ahsoka was absolutely hated when she was first introduced. There was no mention of her in the prequels and it just looked to the fan base that she was just shoehorned in. The voice actress even got death threats. But as the show progressed, so did Ahsoka's arc and character development as she also grew older, and the fans started to like her. That final season of Clone Wars is possibly some of the best Star Wars content we've ever had. That fight scene with Maul was motion captured, with Ray Parks returning to play Maul, which is why is looks so damned good.

I think the clone wars is mainly focused in Ashoka her growth as a character and a Jedi , and with the force she became way more intelligent, wise, powerful. The clone wars is Ashoka character development.

Dude... you're watching spoilers for things you haven't even watched yet. While I like your enthusiasm, you need to stop this, and start from the beginning. Here's the complete timeline (since you've already had many things spoiled, you may as well just start from the beginning and roll through it):
Episode I, Episode II, The Clone Wars (animated series (skip the final 4 episodes until after) Episode III (NOW do the final 4 episodes of Clone Wars), The Bad Batch (animated series), Obi-Wan Kenobi (live action series), Solo (movie), Andor (live action series), Rebels (animated series), Rogue One (movie), Episode IV, Episode V, Episode VI, The Mandalorian (seasons 1 and 2), The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian (season 3), Ahsoka (live action series), Episode VII, Episode VIII, Episode IX.
There will be more coming out, and the Clone Wars will take you a while to get through, so just keep up on timeline additions occasionally.
I'm not trying to be critical, just offering some help. You really want to get the full experience of Star Wars. Normally, I'd recommend "release order", but since you've already seen a bunch of things that "spoil" the story, you may as well just go from the beginning. If you do that, I will subscribe, and help explain some subtle details you may miss, without adding to what's already been spoiled.
For context, I was 10 years old when the original Star Wars movie came out in 1977, and was part of the newly created fandom. I have been a massive fan ever since. There isn't much I don't know about the current canon (aside from comics and books, to be honest about it, though I do know some of that, too) that we've seen "on screen". Plus, I have watched the movies and shows so many times, I have picked up on some very subtle things that I can point out, to help younger fans along. I do it because it's a passion of mine, and I am always respectful in my communications. Though, I will admit, I can get long winded. LOL!

The tragedy of Darth Vader is that as Obi Wan's padawan Anakin, was not allowed to develop into manhood without arresting his emotional development and in this Obi-Wan failed him. It is argued that if Qui-Gon Jinn had survived, Anakin would have never become Darth Vader. As a result of all the failures and the dysfunctional emotional development as Obi-Wan's padawan, Anakin was set on a path that led to Darth Vader.
Anakin, reluctantly at first, accepted Ahsoka as his padawan and proceeded to teach her that she could count on him no matter what. Even when it went against the Jedi Council. Which Obi-wan would never have done. Anakin taught her how to survive and would not relinquish his responsibility to Ahsoka, damn the Jedi-Council if they got in his way of this duty. Without revealing too many spoilers, just understand that Ahsoka was the recipient of the best training ever offered to any Jedi padawan. Anakin truly loved Ahsoka as any big brother would his little sister. Do yourself a favor and watch "The Clone Wars" and then watch "Rebels", its great story telling by your new best buddy Dave Filoni!

The Jedi were unknowingly corrupted by senators and key economic leaders between many planets in order to combat the separatists. Ahsoka is no average Jedi because Anakin trained her well, he stood by her. The Jedi were under the influence of the Chancellor and hence had to accept her as guilty even though she was later proven innocent, damage done.

Canon games Jedi Fallen order and Jedi Survivor are canon Jedi Fallen order comics for the game Jedi fallen order Dark Temple. and Jedi Battle Scares which takes place between the two games.
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Ps spoiler below
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
He did some good character development in the Jedi Battle Scares comic.
And even the inquisitor 5th brother had his highlight where he defeated Cal and almost killed Greez, fortunately he only lost his hand. 😮😢😌
    .
    .
    .
Dagan Gera reminds me of Count Dooku and has become another favorite of mine. If they release another comic from this game with him, I'll buy it.
    .
    .
    .
Omg 9th sister is as mad at Cal as when 7th brother chopped her leg off at Mon Cal. And then he was killed by Ahsoka in Tales of the Jedi. 🤣
    .
    .
    .
The 9th sister is finally part of the living and rests in peace, having already lost an eye from Vader during training, a leg from the 6th brother, and finally an arm and head from Cal.
