Love the chrome window frames. So simple, no Bullshit sensors or computer chips, will actually run if there was an EMP or MCE event.

The 1966 Mustang coupe is so underrated versus the fastback model, I own a 1966 Coupe red with white vinyl top loaded with factory options a black plate car desert car from California all its life now in Colorado 289 auto 4 barrel aluminum intake California smog emissions removed, flow master 44 mufflers and dual exhaust with valence panel like the GT version sounds great runs great . a real beauty and a beast. The coupe weighs 50 lbs less than a sports roof or fastback version . the car is the same except the roofline in all respects. In fact the coupe version with the same engine and trans combinations could beat a fastback in a race. 50 lbs is a lot of weight in a drag race. Also remember the Chevy Camaro 1967-1969 was a coupe in competition with the 1965-1966 ford Mustang as was the 1970-1974 Plymouth Cuda which were also coupe cars . Both Mustang Sports roof and coupe are great cars you will not go wrong with any version but the coupe will cost thousands less and give you all the fun and enjoyment of a classic Mustang. I love my 1966 Mustang coupe waiting for spring to roar again and cruise the streets.

This was my dad’s first car. He had one that was Ember Glow. He had to sell it when I was very little because he couldn’t take care of it anymore and it was starting to rust. It killed him to sell it and it kills me too now that I’m old enough to look at cars but at least I can rest easy knowing it’s still out there and not rusted away.

My dad actually bought it from your dad. He drank himself to death and let the car rust and fall apart. Sorry dude

Where's the Emergency Flasher and Switch inside the Glovebox?!?? The Emergency Flasher was standard on all 1966 Mustangs. In 1965, It was optional.

Emergency Flashers were standard on 1967+
1964.5 - 1966 did not come with Emergency Flashers

AND QUOTE: "New safety regulations by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for 1967 included an energy-absorbing steering column and wheel, 4-way emergency flashers, a dual-circuit hydraulic braking system, and softer interior knobs."
