Toni Bou is the best at the moment and for the past 14 years indoor and outdoor, love him or hate him he is Absolutely Unbelievably Amazing at what he does.

He is a spotter. They have these in tournaments or just in general to catch you if you're falling. Usually best to have a more experienced rider to spot for you if you do trials.
