It’s like Andre doesn’t rap, he talks to you heart to heart, and it just happens to rhyme. I can count on one hand the amount of lyricists that made me shed actual tears through their bars, but 3 stacks is definitely one
Facts!!💯
This is what a poet do.
W
You need to watch the whole nor interview it’s amazing
Kanye is imperfectly perfect. His mistakes taught us many things regardless.
Lost my mom in ‘18, my younger brother in ‘19, and my dad in ‘20. When this song dropped, I could not stop crying. I still tear up now. Andre will ALWAYS be my favorite MC.
That’s rough my dude .. hope the days are looking brighter
❤😢hade my dude
Spreading love. I'm sorry to hear that.
Wow.. hope things have been gettin better man, don’t give up. God bless.
my God❤
We need an Andre 3K solo album so badly
Needed it 15 years ago
@@LuisFigo4 crazy enough we have it. It’s also the Album where he decided to do no rapping at all
He aint doing it. And as a fan of his, I respect his wishes 😂.
As a rih fan never give up on that album coming 😂 we refuse to stop harassing her about it lol
@@ComradeHB what's this have to do with Andre? lol
I love how he said he misses his mother showing his son " civilian life shit " . As to say the fact the son was being raised by two famous figures and privileged lifestyle, his grandmother brought a sense of rooted normalcy.
This one got me in my feelings with 3Stacks verse that was one of the realest most self aware verses I’ve ever heard
Broke my heart
Facts man, that verse is just heart ripping.
Listen to his verse on "16" by Rick ross and "sorry" by TI . same vibe
Facts. I can relate to most of it. Both my parents are dead, mom died from heart problems, dad never got married etc.
Sucks he regretted it
“I ain’t try to take ya choice away I just prayed the water break for my daughters sake” was a direct reference to Kanye’s South Carolina presidential rally where he went on an anti abortion rant and broke down crying telling the story of how he almost aborted his daughter.
he was pregnant?

@@mcleodstick I worded that poorly but you knew what I meant 💀💀💀
@@mcleodstick we wuz pregnant n shiet

The long pause in Kanye verse went over y’all heads Lol…. After the pause he says “they try to take me voice away” they tried to silence him. That’s why he let the beat ride and paused his verse . 🔥🔥
Nice catch!
How has he ever been silenced?
@@jarvisstephenson7039 He’s referring to how the media will morph his words to make him look like he’s crazy.
@@ohwni he don’t need the media for that. He is crazy. Yet my question remain the same when has he ever been silenced?
I think one of the hardest parts of Andre's verse is how he's able to carry this melancholic tone like you can hear the pain in his voice. As well as talking about him telling his mom not to smoke, while smoking a joint.
DMX part broke my heart
The symbolism. It hits hard when you have children.
@@storyvilledistrict cap
Real.
It's 'oh poor baby' that gets me everytime. Some but not all often dehumanize their parents because they are the law in their lives. Having the perspective to look back at your parents when they raised you and how/why they made the choices they did. Understanding the choices that you may make as a parent. It changes your understanding. Especially if you're able to have those conversations, honestly, with your parents. Alot of them were kids when they raised us. Still moving through and learning in the world. Perspective.
Man, that dehumanizing of parents thing is so true and never really made me think about it like that. Thanks for commenting this
Andre’s line when he talked about laying in the grass gave me chills
Brooooo!
Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Andree 3000, you cant listen to any of these if you are already having a bad day because it will bring every emotion out of you in a way you wouldn't think its possible.

@@jarvisstephenson7039there’s plenty of videos out there of DMX trying to be there for his kids and they rejected him
on the Tupac line in Ye's verse he said entanglement a few bars before, definitely a Will and Jada reference, he knows what he doing 😂😂
Rightt im just now catching that connection this time around😂😂
That’s fire!
lol i think you're reaching. The Tupac reference was talking about his beef with Drake, and what could possibly be the outcome if he feeds into the drama, like Pac n Biggie did. The entanglement bar was talking about how the media looks at and covered his marriage with Kim. I don't think Ye is in the mental/spiritual place to be clowning or throwing petty shade like that.
@@rationalsportsfanatic7416 u must not have watched the drink champs interview
@@kirkobangzjr632 lol nah I did, and loved it. So what makes you say that though? What did he say in it that makes you think I didn’t watch it based on reading my comment?
random wordplay that i haven’t seen anybody notice in kanye’s verse: he says “my favorite art teacher’s name was mrs. *levy, ‘round the* time i learned to…” his teacher mrs levy’s first name was rhonda, so it’s wordplay as “levy, rhonda” “levy, round the”
wait how do you know
@@detcom9140He has a documentary. Donda was so likable in it. Loved her.
12:28 Yo Kanye I'm really happy for you imma let you finish but 3000 has one of the best verses of all time!!!

Facts
This verse reminds me of Andre's verse on TI's song called "Sorry"
All time!!!!!!!!
Kanye washed him
If you lost someone 😭 that Andre verse will have you going down memory lane and tearing up.
agree ..
Andre's verse is a work of art. It tugs at your heart strings if you miss any family member.
Andre’s verse…poetry! Ye is Ye’ing! Classic instantly. Loved the react!
Andre is not my goat but he is in my top 5, I dont think any rapper is as poetic as Andre, he is the Shakespeare of rap but you can understand him with ease. If Andre was more active when it came to dropping music he'd be my goat but he has his reasons to not do so which I respect. Kendrick is the closest imo to Andre in terms of poetry but still Andre is on another level.
Who is your topc5? Just wondering.

Kayne went straight to heaven his last 10 seconds. That humming rap is equivalent to a person speaking in tounges It was almost spiritual. All GEMINIS know.
That twin connection remains unfazed

You cant rap on his level without knowing yourself truly.
You cant "how to rap" authenticity, wisdom, and high levels of potency.
@@dalonbranch8270 I didn’t say rap on his level, im saying ….. i said his writing style not his content but you got it chief
@@MrEpalmer1 Yea im hip. Im speaking to both. To rap like that even structure wise requires you to not think of your verses as mere raps.
You gotta really have intention and have a vast musical and writting ear.
@@dalonbranch8270 I’m not saying I rap like him bro I’m simply saying I can’t mimic dude… as a writer I’m very nice at this shit, and I don’t think I’m anywhere near 3k to me he’s the goat… me attempting what he does is simply me trying to push my pen … I don’t see myself as a rapper I see myself as a writer… I’m simply saying I try to push my pen further is all
@@MrEpalmer1 lol i think what im saying is getting misconstrued because i didnt clarify the "you" was a general you not specifically you lol.

Andre 3000's verse is the most honest and heart felt lyrics that I've ever heard from an artist. Puts you right there in the middle of the song
For real tho, 3stacks is the one artist that gets me to sit up straight and fold my hands whenever he decides to come thru.
Made me think of my momma, love you so much RIP and one of a kind Andre- much love ❤️ I sense your sadness in your voice and that story. Thanks for grazing us with your talent through Outkast.
We have choices in life, respect if you don't take that celebrity path no more xx
Always look to Lost in Vegas for the analysis, insight, commentary we need from the most packed lyrical verses of all time.
Thank god for this! When I heard the song the first thing I wanted was for you guys to react to it!
This is the type of reaction content I’ve been looking for for a while. Great instinctual reactions that are entertaining to watch, but more importantly you have great insight upon your first listen, interjecting midway through. Subbed.
Unfortunately when Ye removed all the drake subs he took out one of my favorite parts “I don’t play boy, over your dead body ‘fore my daughter pose for playboy. we do not condone oversexualization of the kids in the home…”
and the “south park had jokes about fish sticks to this day the whole team can kiss this dick” was fire too
@@wilmertejada2256 I wonder if he took that out because Pete Davidson and Kim 😢
I took that as a diss on drake by referrencing his past of messaging underage female celebs
I respect when you guys add personal vignettes to the songs.
Ryan's insight @ the 20:13 mark is why I love this channel. I don't get realness like this with any other reactors.
Every time I hear Andres verse start I get chills through my whole body
Bro I've never cried like this over a verse before... Idk kinda felt that shit on a deeper level. I lost my Dad to cancer and my mom is in another country as I'm in my darkest hours. #LifeKeepsGoing
keep going strong man, make them proud!
So sorry to hear that. Hope you’re a bit better now!
Wish yall reacted to Off the Grid man that was probably Kanye's best work of lyricism in years
They steady sleeping
Imagine not mentioning Jesus Lord
Ohshiiiit. I was hoping y'all would react to this song with this verse because holy shit. Super nice surprise.
Best reaction on youtube! Wow, the way you broke this song piece by piece is very entertaining and beautiful. Now this song is why we say 'music is life.' Glad I'm subscribed.
Andre hit the theme of the album perfectly
Damn... Ryan was especially within today. Thank you for being so candid.
Kanye "Faith Driving like a Rolls Royce" (Rose Royce Wishing on a star song) you gotta peep the depth .
thank god someone clocked this bar - it's actually ridiculous.

this verse and song is truly amazing. 3k rapped probably his best verse ever it was so beautiful it honestly makes me want to cry and just appreciate all the time i have left with my own momma. you know it really makes me appreciate my life and my mom and how much she has helped me in my life. 3k is truly amazing and the way he explains this is one of the best performances i’ve ever heard in rap history. truly beautiful.
I see Kanye, I click. Simple.🔥
So simple
RIP DMX, that was beautiful. Miss you!
You guys have no idea how much i wanted this breakdown from you guy’s on this song. Thank you✨
why does Andre do this to us? Remember how he had us when we heard his verse on Blond? One of the many “what if” that we’ll probably never get to experience is an Andre solo album.
I dont really watch you guys a lot...but when I heard this song...I was ready to see you guys react
This is pure poetry.
The way Ye allows his music and samples be heard should be commendable. Beautiful song! Dre is definitely some type of soul speaker! So amazing!
I been waiting on somebody to react to this, was hoping it was you guys or the LawTwinz💪🏼💪🏼
Thats interesting, My grandfather did the same thing with the middle names, and my father did the same for me and my brothers. Though we don't have a close/good relationship with him.
This ain’t the version I heard…but I’m glad Ye changed his verse. Makes the song that much better
Damn never knew Kanye had this verse on the track.. straight bars regardless
Only heard the leaked one by drake lol
To think of the personal dialog you two is having from that 3K verse, he's really out of this world.
Music for the heart, beyond the brain in catching bars. Respect to Mighty Andre.
It's music and reaction (analysis) like this, that truly help the healing process. TY both.
3k's crazy revealing verse, BIG adlibs had me close to crying. Then the DMX slingshot clip at the end came, and I absolutely lose it. RIP Donda and Earl
This song still hits diff. I guess speaks to the heart…this song is fuckin beautiful! It’s poetry in motion…2024
This is the perfect reaction duo to react to a song so intricate.
A box chevy is not a truck😂 its one of those cars with the big ass rims
The Andre 3000 verse was excellent. Very well written and had a lot of relatable themes.
Andre hits different, i loved this track the first time i heard it. Before i even heard Kanye's part. I dont hate it, but Andre's is just something special
I’ve been waiting for this reaction for so long….this is legit one the most top tier songs I’ve ever heard
When i describe Andre 3000 to people i describe it like this. He's a conscious rapper that doesn't sound conscious. Most conscious rappers come off as preachy and boring, but not Dre.
No one does dissections better than LIV. I, personally, have learnt sooooo much about hiphop and all these little intricacies that come with the genre because of these guys. Super valuable as a non-American, and a non-english speaker, in general. Luv yall
Finally! Been waiting for you guys to do this.
This goes HARD on ALL LEVELS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥well done 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫!
Y’all dope I look forward to y’all input well said brothers 👑
you guys have such intelligent and nuanced breakdowns; you can break down the real life meanings as well as the metaphors and the rapping ability at the same time
He did it on Anderson Paaks album too
Also, to add onto your point at 8:00) I challenge anyone to name a bad Andre verse. To quote Kendrick, "I'll wait... your rebuttal a little too late". The reason artists like 3 stacks have smaller discographies than most other artists is partly explained by the absence of any filler whatsoever. His verse on Solo (Reprise) also goes some way to explaining it further:
After twenty years in, I'm so naive I was under the im-
'Pression that everyone wrote they own verses
It's comin' back different and, yeah, that shit hurts me
I'm hummin' and whistlin' to those not deserving
I've stumbled and lived every word, was I working just way too hard?
I tear up everytime i hear Dmx at the end of this song......this song is so perfect in so many ways.
I have been watching y’all for so long and didn’t even realize that I wasn’t subscribed! Just subscribed, you guys are awesome!
i’ve always loved andre 3000, ever since i was a kid being introduced to hip hop and listening to outkast. this verse made me tear up from the very beginning, like you both mentioned, tugging on your heart strings.
his word play, along with the overall content and heartfelt messaging was beautiful to listen to and watch you both dissect. great reaction as always fellas 🖤
Other rappers out here drawing stick men on white notebook paper with a number 2 pencil. 3000 out here painting masterpieces on canvas using every color on the of the rainbow.
my favorite part of Benjamin's verse was when you mentioned how he would love it when his mom would show his son (Seven) 'civilian life'!!!
Hits me every single time cause I wasn't alive to meet any of my grandparents (either side)
I always got that feeling in the back of my mind that they would've explained life in a way I would've actually got it; that "Grand Wisdom" is unmatched!!
Peace 🤲🏿✨🌍🌱✊🏿

Andre is the best ever at putting MEANINGFUL words together. Not just words. Words with a purpose. And the runner up is far and away from him.
Idk I feel like Andre gave Ye an opportunity to get some feelings bout his mom off his chest and he was too scared to open up about it. Coulda been a perfect moment to let it all out but instead he just dropped a random verse
ngl i agree with you it was random but u cant deny it was fire
He had lines abt donda originally even abt being bipolar but he removed them and no one knows why it’s here he played it at a listening party In july ua-cam.com/video/tmYsNT264bo/v-deo.html
None of that verse was random
@@Jmam554 Straight from Shibuya, on some zennnnnn
Agree, dope verse but could've been epic if it were matchin Andre's masterpiece...
Kanye’s reference in saying “I didn’t mean to take your choice away but they tried to take my voice away.” Is a direct reference to his feeling about abortion and his political stance. It has a double meaning because Kanye ran for President and many felt he would be a distraction and pull votes away from Biden. In other words he didn’t mean to be the distraction but the political space refused to talk about what he felt was important. Ultimately this is a play on his political stances which if you listened to the ,Nore interview, seem to be very valid when fully expressed correctly.
I dig you two brothers because you think like, I think. I will continue to follow you two guys because you all seem real to me.
Bro this is my first time watching this vid and this 2 guys really made me overthink this song it’s a W song
Nas and Andre are my top 2.
I feel the same way. Born on the south side Chicago! All I knew was black people. Black school. Black stores and black houses n neighborhoods. You was in hole other world. Other white people I know was on tv. Until I move down south to Nashville. Then my mind n reality changed
This song never fails to make me cry
That intro remind me of Bablo Boat by Cole and Royce
That DMX bit makes my eyes water every damn time.
What a verse from andre 3k🔥.preach!
Just a lil something that yall missed at the end of Ye verse where he mentions the police, he ends up being strangled/muffled by the police and i think it is also paying respect to the BLM or black men being brought down in society...yall see what i mean riiight? Well just my cents
Always look forward to y’all reviews 💯
Made me go back and listen to Dance by Nas. Masterpiece
20:20 George what you said here should be clipped and put on instagram. Really important and a perspective most people, myself included, dont realize. And im from the chicago suburbs.
Amazing video loved your guys reaction and breakdown of the song
Andre is always amazing and this was no exception. The songs alright. For sure not my favorite but yeah, Andre killed it as usual. He's been so good for so long that I always make sure not to take it for granted which again isn't hard because he's so sick. My man can act too, check out Revolver if you've never seen it.
Really loved the discussion you two had around the 7-8 minute mark. Makes me think of Capital Steez’s Amerikkkan Korruption. If y’all ever get the chance to make a video on it, or some of the songs on it, that’d be so dope. And if not no sweat.
