Got it on 13th Jan lohri and mom's bday.. giving unbelievable 18-19 kmpl on daily Noida Delhi drive of 70kms..lol..cruise at 70 is a blessing.

Good initiative to make such informative video. The way Indian Highways are been developing they are actually on par with international standards. Cruise control is an amazing feature especially on such xp highways. Also they assure the car speed remains in a consistent power band which enhances the milage, less stress on clutch (auto/Mt) and above all its helps in reducing drive fatigue to a large extend. No wonder the demand for cruise control will increase in India the way are roads are developing. Small hatch back should also be provided with CC options like Swift etc..

Cruise control is very usefull on highways..ur feet get some relief..in Honda cars u can change gears without affecting the cruise control mode.my Wrv diesel has 6 gears so I usually put max 5th gear in Cruise control.this way I don't need to change gears and vibrations are less as compared to 6th gear..better fuel efficiency also

You forgot the most important point, using cruise control increases fuel efficiency by atleast 10%... My brezza petrol gave me 20.5 kmpl with cruise set to 80kmph on bangalore- Mangalore highway.. company itself claims 17.5kmpl for brezza petrol but on pure highway, brezza petrol gives 19-20kmpl..
In my case I have also churn out 19 KMPL in my S Cross petrol... through crusie control...
Can you make a video on basic features in cars....what are the basic features that should be available in base models as well, would be great to understand these features to see if any of it are unavailable should we consider an upgrade or not

I use cruise control.. want your opinion.. of using the same feature on incline / decline roads.. I noticed sudden surge in power by the motor while in cc mode .. pls explain if it's normal

Superb information good job 👍 please reply in XL6 automatic break or automatically slow down the car is working or not on highway, did you tested and trusted it when any car comes near your car.
That technology is called "adaptive cruise control". It's not there in XL6. It has normal cruise control only.

Take as many features as possible if you can afford
Not recommended only to get Cruise, it's a feature best used with Automatic transmission.
As mentioned in other comments, it's not recommended to take right foot off pedal in Indian roads. This is a convenient feature best avoided.
In my xl6 the CC doesn't work unless my foot is there on the accelerator pedal, is this normal?
No
Only to engage the cruise control, you need to have the foot on the accelerator pedal to let the ECU know that this much throttle I want. ---Mahesh (V3Cars)

Never used, won't prefer either. Accelerator should keep the driver engaged. Seen people slept while using cc

I'm sorry, I don't have that information. We use a very complex algorithm to calculate the perceived value of features and we can't share the exact details. According to my rough estimations, I think it could be about 30-35k. ---Mahesh (V3Cars)
Cruise control in Assam is practically worthless. There are not enough highways to meet its requirements
