Agreed!!!! It seems like such an off the wall collaboration but they nailed it! Their voices mesh so well together and this just proves how talented and versatile of a musician and artist she really is! Yeah she likes shock value, but at the core she really is an amazingly talented singer :)

Gaga is a class act. She may not be as relevant in the pop scene as she was years ago, but she's still asserting her position in music generally. It's undeniable that this woman can sing better than 90% of any of the divas in pop. What other artist could make an entire duet album with the famous King of Jazz and make it sound like it was ripped right out of Jazz's prime? Gaga doesn't need to sell out stadiums or get 5 #1 singles per album. Her talent is enough to prove that she will be around for as long as she wants, trying new things and not just sticking with the same basic pop crap that Katy Perry and Rihanna do.

Gaga really shows that she understands swing and, when she allows herself, sharp phrasing. As for Bennett, well he's just absolute master of his craft. Superb.

I love the fact that she's stepping out of her "Pop" labeled box. It shows tremendous courage to produce something that her core audience isn't expecting from her. Just because your good at one genre of music, who's to say you can't be good at another?

Cheek to Cheek is selling well and, much more importantly, garnering some fine reviews by the unbiased critics, praising Gaga for her wonderful voice. Now, Elton John wants to do another song with her and Barbra Streisand wants to do a song with her.

If she's what you call fat... WOW. She's HEALTHY. Her NATURAL body shape isn't stick thin. She's struggled with an eating disorder for ten years. I'd rather see her put on weight and be healthy than advocating ED. Beside.. why don't we focus on how FLAWLESS they are as musicians.. she's not a model she's an artist.

Rockdolphin77 I find that odd because she's never been "SKINNY" She's always been known for her hips. I have a book that Terry Richardson made and EVERY photo of her in that book shows her curves. She's never been "skinny" she's always had healthy curves.

There were actually a lot of older people who were there for Mr. Bennett and who weren't previously fans of Gaga. Of course the public mostly consisted of Little Monsters or just younger people out for a good time, but you could really see people of all ages enjoying the performance.
You don't have to be a fan of Tony Bennett to enjoy or at least appreciate his music or appreciate what he and Lady Gaga are doing. I'm not a fan of his but I do know who he is. I've been watching some of these videos because of Lady Gaga tbh but I do like them singing together. Surprisingly I know some of these songs, too.
My father suffers from dementia and this music changes it all!! Makes him so happy!!!!

But her albums had BIG longetivity that's why they were selling that great..The only album that she sold 1m is Born This Way..And you must be a bit ignorant if you think that every of her albums should sell 1m in the opening week .+this album is jazz

I don't think Tony B. would even talk to Madonna. None of her other contemporaries do because she is so incredibly rude and garish. I'm not talking about contemporaries who have not enjoyed any success I'm talking about people like Elton John for starters who everyone knows how successful he is. Cyndi Lauper is hugely successful and she branched out into other genres jazz is one and she did it very well and Madonna talked her usual trash like she always does. When Lady GaGa first came out Madonna highly praised her said she had that something special and that she would go very far in the business. Only when GaGa turned Madonna down on a collaboration did Madonna start talking trash about the woman. Why in hell would GaGa want to do a collaboration with Madonna? I saw how ridiculous Justin Timberlake looked and sounded when he did it. His biggest flop to date. Madonna was terrible when she was in her prime and now she is worse pimping her kids and dry humping Myle Virus. She will do anything for attention. Madonna has become the Kardashians of the music business. All talk and no substance.

Im diggin this new Gaga. Its a new phase of her to play around with glamour. This style is gonna be throwback 1920s-1950s jazz decadent luxurious glamour that goes well with the booming jazzy rich sensual soulful jazz theme. Love it!

Gaga can sing with ANY1, of ANY genre. Tony is waaaay b4 her time and just her doing a collab with Tony and a Jazz Band is Phenomenal. This is such a Great Happy song. She Truly is A GREAT Artist. She looks so Beautiful and Happy.
Its so refreshing to see Lady Gaga gets on jazz music. She's a really great artist she can't belt like other divas but thats not the meaning of being one of them. By collaborating with Tony Bennett she proved thats she has a very great talent inside of her. Anyone has flaws and mistake but still Lady Gaga is sure a versatile singer.

The only reason people are calling Cheek To Cheek a flop is because Gaga is on the album and all of you are thinking about how successful Born this Way was! Besides the album has done so well since it is a jazz album and we are all so caught up in a pop music world where your called unsuccessful for selling thousands in your first week

Has anyone noticed that she's done all types of genre's throughout her career? Before she was big she did glam rock, a little bit before she got big she did R&B and rap (No Way & Paper gansta) then she got big with generic pop (just dance and Poker face) then went into more dark synth pop with BTW(album) and now is doing jazz.
