Doki Doki Morning - This is just a perfect representation of the band's identity: driving chords melded with girlie lyrics and killer choreo. 4. Catch Me If You Can - A total crowd pleaser that, for several reasons, is really best enjoyed live. 3. Head Bangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! - I'm with you. This song is just really aggressive and fun all at the same time. I really wish they'd offer the Yui and Moa sung versions (sung during their European 15th birthday shows) as bonus tracks on the next disc. 2. Megitsune - Just the pinnacle of their their kick ass girl power mixed with catchy as hell riffs and choreo. Awesomeness. 1. From Dusk Till Dawn - I can't say enough about this song, which is easily the most underrated track in their catalog. It has this ethereal and haunting quality that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it, and I love that aggressive bridge in the middle. I really hope they do more stuff like this in the future because it's such a departure from their other stuff and offers excellent counterpoint to their more traditional sounding type stuff. My favourite part of Karate is just before the C&R and at the ending. I like to hear if Su-Metal has improved her singing even further. And a lot of the time she has ! I believe Megitsune might be one of Babymetal's favourite songs to perform as well. Because it's the song they performed almost more than any other song. Only the old closer IDZ has been performed more often.

Those are solid choices. I will sometimes skip BMD on the studio album, but it's amazing live. Also can't argue with Megitsune in the top spot. That song is my jam. I'm still kicking myself for missing the 2014 concert in Los Angeles as I missed both Headbanger!! and Akatsuki being performed live. Didn't see them until 2016 when they came back to L.A. That is just so true. For a group to have SO many great songs in just 2 albums is just insane! Usually you get a couple of really great songs on an album, and you're happy with that. Not so with Babymetal! You just can't pick the best 5, as other great songs would miss out.
Great List! Megitsune is my #1 too, no contest. All other choices great! ... Headbangeeer! very recently became a favorite here, now that I've seen all DeLoreans; (that song killed at Tokyo Dome and Makuhari Messe especially). BM Death is great because it has a truly spooky vibe to it. The only thing wrong with this list is that there is no room for Doki Doki and Awadama, two songs that make me crazy-happy. But, still, Great List! ... Death!
This was difficult but after a long thought this is my top 5: Special mention goes out for Onedari Daisakusen; if I was allowed to play only one song in my car(very loud), this is The One (pun intended). This song is cute yet also agressive and the best Limp Bizkit song they never made (love that nu metal feel). 5. Iine!: I can't think of a song that makes me happier than this one. In terms of quality not one of Babymetal's best but one that is so very enjoyable to listen to. 4. Headbangeeeerrrrr!!!!!: Really good, strong song, I bet this is unbelievable at a concert. As it says on the tin, their best song to headbang to. 3. Gimme Chocolate!!!: Since this is my first Babymetal song I owe it to be in the top 5. For me this song is the perfect mix between their adorability (is that even a word?) and quality melodic metal. With one of the best guitarsolo's BM ever did this song just beats Headbangeeeerrrr to third spot. 2. Megitsune:… Melodic, Mysterious, Masterpiece, what else is there to say? 1. I'm also SO DESPERATE to see Headbanger live, I'd go absolutely crazy for headbanger, too bad it's a song mostly for birthday shows or big shows And Megitsune is one of my most extreme memories of my first Babymetal concert! The whole concert felt like a fever dream, I wish I could remember every detail :( But when Megitsune played, the moshpit behind us went crazy, and everyone kept pushing from everywhere until everyone just hopped around on one leg, trying not to fall...I also lost my skirt while jumping xD It was mildly terrifying but most of all so intoxicating, everyone just enjoyed the hell out of Megitsune and sang along and I just got pushed from side to side, in shorts with my skirt at my ankles, singing along with tears in my eyes xD It was wild.

Megitsune is actually pronounced as Me-Kitsune. In japanese, the letter K is often a G when jointing words together.

And Megitsune is one of my most extreme memories of my first Babymetal concert! The whole concert felt like a fever dream, I wish I could remember every detail :( But when Megitsune played, the moshpit behind us went crazy, and everyone kept pushing from everywhere until everyone just hopped around on one leg, trying not to fall...I also lost my skirt while jumping xD It was mildly terrifying but most of all so intoxicating, everyone just enjoyed the hell out of Megitsune and sang along and I just got pushed from side to side, in shorts with my skirt at my ankles, singing along with tears in my eyes xD It was wild.

I don't know if you're into Poppy at all but I kept seeing comments comparing her to Babymetal and I thought it was like some obscure genre. I clicked onto one of your recent reaction videos and found out they're actually a band! I really really like their sound and I'm trying to learn more about them so obviously a deep dive into your channel is the best way I can think of to do that lol. I'll be using your recommendations and just generally trying to learn more about them! :)

Until I heared Syncopation, then I change my list

3. Megitsune (For amazing Beat, and The Icon for the band it self)
4. From Dusk Till Dawn (For the coolest Mixing of techno & Metal Instrumental)
5. Onedari Daisakusen (For.. umm... I'm not sure, maybe it's because remind me with hip/nu metal era like Limp Bizkit. After all it's rare to find Babymetal song with Moa & Yui dominating the song without their Queen 😎)
