      Hello Boris! I am hoping future updates have snow and rain filters. I am about to click and buy optics. Thank you.

    Rikard. Just bought your courses. And yesterday a friend suggested getting Boris FX and I bought it. This morning I find you have done videos on using it. Great. You are a terrific teacher.

    Hello Rikard you are a real artist. I already bought 2 of your products: Creating atmosphere in Photoshop Bundle, and Rikard Rodin Complete Pack, and I am so happy to have them because I am learning do much. Thank you Rikard and God Bless you.

    Boring optics is great BUT it is a subscription and also quite expensive (IMHO). I wish you'd do these types of composites without such plug-ins. You are a great artist, teacher and mentor.

    Hi nice teaching video, but you can turn day into night affects in Lightroom, lighting lamps, with radial filters, and using an American night preset.

      The optics file will only work in the Optics plugin. You can download the free trial if you'd like to do the tutorial without purchasing the plugin.

    Great tutorial as always. I have the trial, but not sure if I will purchase as my Optics crashed a number of times whilst trying to complete the tutorial [iMac Pro]. If it was more stable, I'd buy it outright.

    So much more tangible as a practical example after watching your full review which was complete but more abstract/theorical...

    Thank you for this and I think I am about to click and aquire. Do you have a sense that futures updates might inclides filters for adding rain and snow? (I am especially interested in snow).

    • @nuclylearn
      @nuclylearn  3 роки тому +2

      Depends what kind of snow you want... I could make snow using Boris with the existing filters. Actually, that's a good idea for a tutorial...

      I haven't tried it, but I believe Boris FX have a very similar set of plugins for video.

    Being frank, I found Optics to expensive to purchase when I am already subscribed to Creative Cloud with access to 23 applications including Photoshop 2021 that is costing me around £9 a month (around $12). Boris is around $41 a month. Am I missing something here? Is Boris that good to pay almost 4 times more a month for it?

    • @nuclylearn
      @nuclylearn  3 роки тому +2

      You definitely shouldn't be paying $41 a month for Optics! The cost right now is $9 a month. With discount code, that should be around $7. Or you can buy it outright for $150 ($112 w/discount code). I did post a full review of Optics that you can check out here: ua-cam.com/video/ULJQYhiyQE8/v-deo.html . There is A LOT of redundancy with Photoshop. Is it worth it for me? Yes. But I have a design company with a lot of clients and multiple designers and thus the cost makes sense.

    • @BorisFXco
      @BorisFXco 3 роки тому +3

      I think you are using the wrong product option for your pricing. Optics is $9/month or $99/year USD. WIth Rikard's 25% coupon code, the best value is 1 year at $74. We are biased, but if you want the best Lens Flare tool available for photos -- Optics is a clear choice. Boris FX also makes more speciality tools and plugins that fill in many gaps for Creative Cloud users.
