The system is broken. What would you do to survive if you could not work, had no accommodation, and could not access state benefits? This system is creating thousands of people liable to be exploited by others with ill intentions. Rather than question whether the missing people are "breaking" the law, you should be questioning whether they are being exploited by criminal networks in the UK. They are vulnerable people, not criminals.

It's not very often that I find myself siding with the conservative government. However, when an individual essentially denies help 2 times should it still be our duty to make sure we know where they are? How do you even go about tracking an asylum seeker?

This asylum system is out of control now. Just for the security of the country, the government has to press the reset button and call for a general amnesty. I think this is the only government that can get those people back and will get overall control over this situation.

You could not make it up. Two men who got dressed up for nothing and they will be on a large salary and pension.
