  • To be 100% transparent, I purchased this with my own money from Amazon. Polymaker had no role to play in this video other than selling the filament. One thing I didn't mention in the video is this has a bit of a "rough" texture, but that also provides a nice grip surface if that's what you are after.

How the heck did you get this going well without warping?
I am now on my second spool of PA6-CF and GF and every print is warping. I can change whatever setting and it warpes and warpes....
I use a Prusa MK3S+, BiMetal CHT .6 nozzle, 290degrees, and for the bed I tryed everything in every combination from 35 to 105 degrees..... For sure I am using magigoo PA.
Could it be the textured PEI surface? But you also printed on PEI?

I was using smooth GizmoDorks PEI on my machine, I do wonder if the texture of the PEI is an issue. On BuildTak Nylon I had NO adhesion issues, I actually had to watch my first layer height or the print would try to weld to the surface. I am also curious, what kind of nozzle material are you using?
Also, have you tried reaching out to PolyMaker to see what they say?

@@MakeItWithCalvin I am using stock Prusa TXT PEI, but will try the Smooth one.
My nozzle is a Bondtech BiMetal CHT .6 so it is copper with hardened steel core.
BuildTak or glass is recommended by Polymaker or?
I have no answer so far from polymaker and it is like 2 weeks ago.

Have you looked over their "product info sheet" it goes into detail about what to do for temps and a build surface. I just chose PEI & BuildTak Nylon to see how it behaved on different surfaces.
