They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. I feel like that's the point of the song! To be unexpectedly emotional, to feel somehow incredibly sad and incredibly comforting all at once, I feel it is by design. I already left a massive comment about my connection to this music that I've built up, and I'm glad someone else feels it too, even if in your own way.
Skyward Sword is probably my least favorite 3D Zelda title in retrospect, but I'll never forget putting it on for the first time and hearing this. I was not ready for it either. 😭
Bar none, the best file select music in the Zelda series. Those sweeping violins are just everything!

I wanna mention how this song feels to me. Listening to this song, every single time, it sounds so blatantly somber, and near the end, downright sorrowful. It always has a twinge of hopefulness pushing it onward, but is overwhelmingly sad. It feels like a loving hug after a great tragedy. A well of emotion to just rest in after having to be strong for too long. The feeling of finally realizing how much you've been hurting and for how long you've gone without noticing, and finally having somewhere to safely feel that.
The Legend of Zelda, as a series, for all its silliness and whimsy, for all its tropey fantasy elements, for all the entertaining characters and fairy-tale-esque monsters and locations, has always had a strongly sorrowful undertone from my perspective. It's always felt, to me, like the story of a courageous boy who overcomes adversity in an inspiring and impressive way, though in doing so, must not recognize the hardship he and others are being put through as to maintain an outward strength. To feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders and to never be able to acknowledge the harness that forces this weight on yourself until far too late in your life is something I'm familiar with feeling, at least from a personal perspective, and an unspoken aspect of this series of fantasy stories that I have always adored, felt seen by, related to, and the Fairy Fountain theme, or in this case, the first song you hear upon starting the game (File Select) embodies that so perfectly.
Well said! This song feels very safe and welcoming, but much more like a "moment of rest for the weary" than a true home or comfort. Your description perfectly sums it up
@@theultimateswagon Exactly. It feels like a place to sit down and cry in. One of those healthy, venting cries that happen when you finally feel everything that has happened to you that you've neglected to pay attention to.

My middle school memories 7th grade 2011 I was 12 got this game for Christmas with the gold Wii remote and the Zelda symphony cd aw man time files I'm 24 now
I was 14 and the same thing happened to me. Golden remote, and that beautiful cd. Ah the nostalgia.
I also got my copy for Christmas in 2011 with the gold remote when I was 12.
I haven’t replayed the game yet since that initial playthrough but I might get around to the remaster soon. What I do remember is that while the game certainly was more linear, the dungeons were really good.

my only dislike in skyward sword is the control, but somehow it's not really a problem after playing a while

If you have a remote with Wii Motion Plus inside, it’s a lot better to sense your movements.
Best ost. This probably is one of my favorite Zelda games despite all the negativity it got.

I really, really disliked Skyward Sword.
But this one version of The Goddess Appears just knocks it out of the park!
I don't see how anyone could dislike this game...the origin story, everything about is..
It's heavily underrated.
I see why the disliking. The endless back tracking and the wii motion plus controls just WONKY as heck. I totally get it. But I am so happy you agree this is the most PERFECT fairy fountain/goddess appears theme EVER.
Maybe try seeing skyward sword like this: it's the genesis of the Zelda timeline. Everything started like the Bible, "in the beginning" and such. Why Ganon comes back over again, where the master sword came from, and why EVERY princess in hyrule is named Zelda, and my favorite: the hylian shield. The art on the shield explains everything . The sharp silver curves are the clouds, the gold triangle is of course the triforce but where on the shield is it? Middle of the silver clouds. And the RED bird on the bottom of the shield....Who was the ONE person who had a giant RED bird?? 🙂
The game was fine, the controls were annoying...but the emulator community has made it for controller (REAL controller) support.
I appreciate Nintendo trying something new with their consoles but the motion controls for a game like this doesn't work and should be traditionally played with a pad.
Twilight Princess had better motion controls.
