Delta Airlines Status: Worth It?

Earning transferable currency is superior to chasing status for me (except Hyatt Program for family travel lol). Holding Delta Gold for some minor perks and SB. Don’t like any portals unless getting credit. When travel changes needed it’s a nightmare. Hot tip (not that I’ll do such a thing), if one reserves refundable with Delta Stays and cancel later after charge hit, the credits still apply.

@@yurisbu great tips! I’m still leaning towards getting the personal Delta plat since I have enough MQD for gold and then when I cancel the biz Reserve next year I’ll still be able to keep Silver for a while- the price being having to manage two sets of monthly credits forever! 😬

Let me know if you have multiple Delta cards and have considered a play for silver or gold status! Is gold really much better than silver?
