2- Both earphones have nice design but boat have nice design compare to realme

Maine more than 1.5 year realme buds 2 use kiya hai. Sound quality aur mic bhut achha hai iska. Lekin eska upar ka wire 2-3 jgh se fat gya hai. Niche ka wire to brided hai lekin upar ke wire ki quality bhut kharab hai.

I've purchased following earphones till now, Sennheiser cx180street 2 (2times) CX 213(2x), Amkette Trubeats Atom X12 (3x), Audio Technica Ath clr 100, JBL c200 si(currently), Boat Basshead 220(2x),182, Vowel...,Skullcandy SmokinBud II. Philips SHE 1000,1200
And my point is, I have never ever broke a single wire no matter which brand I used whether it was braided, I'm in gym or in mumbai local trains they never broke. ..oh yes one had broken cuz my 20 months old neice had chewed that(cx180). Every other effing time it was 3.5 jack ..which gets damaged by sudden pull.
So now I've JUGAAD🤔...I purchase ₹30 earphone, cuts it 3.5mm jack 5-10cm away from the insertion area, and then solder it with original damaged🤕 earphone. By doing so I've definitely lost brand value at leas on jack part but the sound is still the same without spending ₹600-1000.🤪...time to do the same with JBL c200si..cuz it's original jack is damaged already.
And out of all earphones.. Amkette Atom X12 had the best bass without any competition no muffling like boat earphones.
Sennheiser has overall perfectly balanced sound, JBL has slightly better treble than Sennheiser but the bass quality is not punchy as Sennheiser but definitely better than Boat . Also JBL c200si starts distorting on 90%+..just for test purpose (loudness 60-80% is enough)
In one word boat earphones (which I used) were just bass and loudness.. mids and vocals were trash.
After seeing this video, Just made an order on flipkart for Boat Basshead 242 (₹549)..let's see on 23rd sept..how well you have defined this pair. Cheers ☮️
How is it
@@vipulraj_1193 very very similar to my current JBL c200si. The difference is like 98-100. I'm literally in shock seeing the similarity in sound quality lol. Only hair thin difference among them is, Boat has lill better surround effect while JBL is marginally better in punching the bass in crisper way.
Imma compare them both as 242 vs 200
Comfort:I have medium size ear canals, so it's always instant fit out of the box. That extra hinge support in 242 is definitely holds the earphones better but in initial days it feels itchy in ear ..later on it becomes as comfortable as its not even in there like JBL itself. So I'll make it a tie..cuz none of them have never fell no matter if I'm on trademill or in mumbai local (242 has yet to test in local trains).
Volume level: I can't bear above 75% of 242, as it starts getting super loud which makes audio pitchy and the treble starts hurting the eardrum meanwhile I can put 200 upto the volume of 90%.
That doesn't mean 242 is any worse cuz it's 75% volume produces the same volume as 200 produces on 90% So 242 is definitely louder by a mile from 200.
Distortion:Both earphones starts distorting at 95%. Infact 242 is slightly better.
Bass:Depends on what quality you like more...JBL signature (punchy, lill metallic) or Boat's loud surround (very very fine difference).and also they have perfectly balanced bass..not like boat 225 which have just bass n loudness.
Btw I like mix of both 😭, that's how my Sony home theatre system produces☺️.
Treble:Boat can produce a ton of treble (if you needed) while 200 is just perfect what we need. Otherwise both have best audible range of trebles.
Vocals:Mids n vocals, Both have very similar cralirty I can't decide which one is supirior over other.
Built: Build quality has no comparison, extra silicon braiding on 242 gives huge advantage over 200. JBL's wires are decent not flimsy like Sennheiser. My cousin's pair's (200) are 10+ months old and they're just fine.
Functionality: Boat has 3 botton mechanism which comes really handy while JBL has single button which can be used for limited purposes. Pressing buttons is easier on 242 than 200 as it's not completely flat like JBL.
Mic quality: No complaints at all with either of them. 242 seems slightly better..I guess cuz of it's microphone hole has no dust while 200 is 6 months older.
Verdict: It's a no brainer, go with Boat 242. Cuz of it price as well as it's an Indian Brand☺️.
I delayed this review cuz I had cancelled my flipkart order n then reordered it from TataCliQ which was a great deal ₹424 (I used coupon FIRSTCLIQ).

Boat Is just Overpowered Bass which makes the vocals sound less and makes the music experience bad and irritating.

Definitely realme buds though I haven't used em but I've used 225, you can't wear them for more than 30mins..they literally hurt the ear canals. Those wood like ear gels are rock hard.. and also they're heavy. all they offer are bass treble n loudness, that pitchy treble really feels like someone screwing in my head. mids are terrible vocals are trash, distortion on 70%.. and btw I use Poweramp paid version since 2012..so I know my settings. I've tested them with rooted phone with viper n Dolby Atmos installed. I'd rather listen on loudspeaker than to torture myself with 225. I hope you'll make the right decision 😌
