A dedicated camera definitely does have better image quality, especially in terms of consistency. And a real camera is worth it just for the ergonomics alone. A smart phone is not comfortable to shoot with
A camera, sure. A fujifilm, not really. They are overhyped and people need to understand that, even a “used” one is 30-40% mark up from brand new msrp. Imagine buying something used from 5-8 years ago for double the price…
Oh yeah 100% the mark up over the last 2 years are mad. I was under the impression that prices had started to go back to normal but I haven’t checked recently.
@@itsleonsimpson They have gone down a little, but still paying even the msrp on a old used camera is wild to me. Rule of thumb should always be less than msrp for a used camera in my eyes, unless you have an actual collectors piece.
@@WhatThePheel totally make you right there. Paying over the odds is crazy. I know of a few people that have had really good deals. And made there money back selling after a few months which is mad in it self.
I had one with me but I never needed to use it. Although it was raining it was only light fine rain while I was shooting. If it was heavy I would have put a camera cover on to protect it abit. But I’m sure the xe4 is weather sealed just some of the lens aint. I could be wrong though.
Iso should be auto now. Permanently. Like, why do we worry/think about it? The lower the better. ISO 640 at 250th? Why? Do shutter at 60th and iso lower innit?
Humm…🤔 well it’s totally upto the individual on if they want to have there ISO in auto or manual there’s not right or wrong there. Again with the lower the better is a way or thinking that gets mentioned a lot. Personally getting the shot is more important and i wouldn’t want to lose one just because I was trying to keep at 100 ISO. 640 isn’t even high. Each shot may require different things so just do it in the moment.
iphone photography is not fun at all even if one day smartphones can do everything better than a real mirrorless/dslr i still will use an actual interchangable lens camera just for the experience
That’s a fair comment. Taking photos on a phone is not for everyone for various reasons. I do think depending on what’s on had at the time a phone can be used to grab a shot in the moment. We’re only talking person shots here.

Very true the benefits of having a real camera.
love the pic at 4:05 man, her hat goes in haha - nice to see other small photography creators out here

Did you have an umbrella over you or anything? I'm too scared to take my X-E4 out in the rain because it's not weather-sealed 😅
