Oh my, so many new things coming from Sony! I don't know if I should buy my Sony A7c II or wait to see if something better at the same price is right around the corner??
Seeing how this is a camera for vloging I'm not surprised it not have a mechanical shudder. But I would think it would be priced 800 not over 1k. For all of that just get the a6700 priced 200 to 300 more. As always great video bro💯💯
@@michal_nova Are people buying ZV-E10s as photo cameras? I don't think so. And even if they are, is it your suggestion that you need a mechanical shutter to have a real photography camera? Someone better tell the A9iii and Nikon Z 💀
@POVwithRC If you have a super fast sensor then a mechanical shudder isn't needed. Actually a global shudder is the way to go but that's only in the A93. But I agree, if this camera priced at 1100 then just save a bit more and get a a6700
Hey Andrea, when are we gonna see your voigtlander 50mm F1.0 review. Thank you for being such an asset to the camera community! and your incredibly hard work! have a nice day and takecare
Everything changed on the Sony schedule... Is there a chance of getting the A1 ii this year now? What happend to your large prints? Did you save many of them?
Seems like a nice opportunity for them to release an A6200 with the 26MP sensor and a mechanical shutter (and then retire the A6100 and the A6400). I could see them passing on the AI chip here too because it would be a crazy value alternative to the A6700.
for real, a6200 would be good competition to canons and nikons entry level cameras such as r50 and z50. this new zve10ii is too expensive in my opinion, the original one was popular because it was cheap and if they increase the price to 1k i dont see people buying it as much.
As someone who owns a Sony ZV-E10, is it even worth the upgrade? If so, would the 6700 be better? Also, Lut support, does that mean you don't have to do Luts in post edit or you don't need to shoot in Slog to put on a lut AKA you can just put a LUT over a video not shot in Slog? Sorry for the questions, been a follower for awhile, but still a rookie. My main focus is video, although I don't mind pictures, my s24 Ultra Samsung phone ( the best current model of Samsung ) takes pretty good photos. So I am video first, then photo is second. Thanks for anyone who can help. Also cool for updating us.
Based on the internet, they say that ZVE1 also for LUTs monitoring, not baked in footage. Sony might follow this path as well for the mark ii. For me, I think your ZVE10 is still relevant, mark ii is not a necessity for you right now as it geared up for people that appreciate color grading as it has 10 bit and 422 chroma subsampling. Other than that, those who prefers shoot and post direct to social media don't gain that much quality. I owned ZVE10 myself.
@@AngkelBee Thanks for the reply. So are you saying there is no difference when applying a pre-made LUT? I am not going to lie, I don't know how to color grade...well...I should say I have never tried that feature in filmora editor. So I have saved videos of content creators who sell LUTs for particular videos that I like and just use those. Sorry if my wording of things isn't perfect, I pretty much knew nothing over a year ago. What I aim for is that cinema look. I have a sigma 16mm f1.4 lens, but LUTs may add to the look. So kind of that clear, but blur background that is still cinematic. A good example is the song by Harry Styles, named the sign of the times. If you see that videography in the beginning, it's clear, somewhat cinematic, but also has the bokeh. So in other words, I wouldn't get much out of the 10 bit and 422 sub sampling ( I don't know what 422 sub sampling is ). Thanks again for the response.
Ill just get a grip for my ZVE 10 and extra batteries, these cameras need stabilization, on top of that, no shutter? I use mine for photos and video just fine.
I think for the A1ii they will go very heavily into AI, things like AI focusing, AI predictive tracking, AI scene recognition, etc, etc. They also need to start bring some features from phones which allows them to take such amazing photos with so little hardware. I have the A1 and even with a f1.4 lens sometimes my Pixel 8 Pro takes better photos in low light if you don't pixel peep. There could be 'AI pixel binning' or AI frame stacking or something like that.
so theres no mechanical shutter no AI chip (Human and Animal AF recognition still included) But is there lens breathing compensation?? Mech shutter might be a deal breaker for me
If the camera records gyroscopic data like the first model, then you don't need digital stabilization because you can stabilize everything by editing without any problems.
@@box_zero yeah! I prefer the stabilization caviet than other ones, like in the specs area (compared to A6700 capabilities) and overheating issues at the end... I hope it could be better than the canon r10 and the fuji xs20... Just, for the lens option available and the price, it can be much more interesting than the others
That projected price is a no go, we need more good cameras under $1000, not more above it. The price was the real reason the ZV-E10 was so popular, this either replaces it, or is another product in the stack.
So, basically, it has 10 bit video and a better battery then the previous model. Are they important upgrades? Yes. Do they worth 400 extra quid comparing to the mk I? I don't think so, specially if you consider the lack of mech shutter - an obvious downgrade that cripples its photo capacities. I would rather pay a couple of hundred dollars more and get a FX30 (for video) or a a6700 (for photo).
Yes but looking at ZV1mii prices is already high, it is logical for them to charge more higher. I dont like the price just because ZVE10's price offering is what made me buy this product. If mark ii sell on higher prices, I am considering a6700 second hand on my table.
@@AngkelBee if the ZV1ii is a lot more then $1000 then I might just get the A7iv as this will be much better in every way and you can get it for ~$1600.

Andrea, is the third registered camera (in China from Panasonic) an upgraded version of the FZ80/82? If so, then nothing new from Panasonic this year.
exactly, no new camera the next 2-3 months...but there is something coming end of 2024 ;)
panasonic s9 lokks much better than sony zv e10
1.5x active stab crop sounds insane. I hope it's not true.
We can use m4/3 lens for that purpose😂 If there is E mount adapter...
That's crazy because the A7RV uses active stabilisation and only sacrifices about 1mp. From 61mp to 60mp images. Or for video just a few pixels.
Does the omission of mechanical shutter affect photography?
i think it only affects where you want to shoot fast movement, the picture tends to bend
