Do I have to remove the battery before removing the thorttle body? And when finished, do I need to reset anything?

It's better to remove the battery because we're afraid that when we open the throttle there will be a short, but honestly when I do that I don't remove the battery.....And there's nothing that needs to be reset when we remove the battery.....Please help subscribe
