Let the zaniness begin.
Soulless, Sexless. Imagine an orchestra playing a piece this fast - its devoid of any feeling or emotion. A pure excersize in dexterity only and nothing else. If he played this fast on his albums it would be considered rubbish. For a man of his age and experience playing and recording I would conclude that its just pure narcissistic behaviour. To boot, lots of 14 year old Japanese kids can play like this - so one asks, whats the point?
1st It's called: "Virtuosity". 2nd it's called: "Entertainment". 3rd it's: "Fun" to listen to and try to play for those that are up to the challenge. Plenty of classical Virtuosos in history of various instruments backed up by orchestras. Yes many people nowadays can play high level music and solos, and that's because Virtuosos influenced them. Virtuosos raise the bar that others try to reach and surpass. Yngwie himself was influenced and inspired by other Virtuosos. Music as sonic art is symbiotic, and the entire history of music, theory, guitar and Virtuosity is in this video. Ask Yourself: "What's The Point?" of anything you do? Be it profession, hobby, or for fun? Are your music preferences and interests somehow more important? Or socially more valuable than this video and the live performance? You're the real narcissist projecting yourself.
He delivers what the audience expects from him.. And btw Yngwie has one of the most emotional sounding vibrato and fingers if he wants that.. It's different if someone likes or not his songs and the neoclassical style altogether..thats a matter of personal taste. ..i have not yet heard a 14 year old Japanese kid sound that good..many people can shred, but most don't have the thang..he does.. I play guitar also..for almost 40 years already.. That Yngwie stuff really would NOT fit MY style..but i still understand and highly respect his virtuosity in *his* game.. Also he's doing that live..if you gig you know the adrenaline rush..and the interaction with the audience, and he really does deliver his show and responds to the audience..can you do that..?😅 Most of the times i can't at his level..!
Là on doit dire qu'Yngwie a vraiment assuré avec une incroyable performance ! Red House est divin jouée ainsi !!!! J adore
One of the best and by far faster than Vai ( he said the same), petrucci, guthry, and the rest
