Anyone who has been riding for 25 plus years sure has KTM stories. Back then never thought I would own any Austrian bikes. Time 09-10 rolled around their off road models sure had changed. Now I have a dozen. 😅

I was 14 1st real motocross bike yz 125 back in the 70"s . I did not have the money for filter oil, I used motor oil. I had to mow grass and do odd jobs to pay for my riding. Yea Im old. lol
No replacement for displacement you say? That’s what my day said to me when he got me a AF500 at 15 yrs old. I was 5’ 105lbs. I will say he wasn’t a responsible father. He also told me “it’s better to have power and not need it, then need it and not have it”. Mind you I had only rode a 125 for 3 or 4 rides before he said “ it’s boring to ride with you cause you can’t keep up on that bitch bike”. He also had a CR500
I have 2022 Gas gas 300EX, And I wanna use The Klotz R-50 2 cycle oil, But on the back of the bottle I just noticed it says do not use in oil injection system, My gasgas is oil injected Would you still use this or no? Thank you love the channel..

Question! Just picked up a 2015 sx250 (for $1500!! Runs great and is in good condition. just needs crankshaft seal changed and carb gone through) with that being said. This is my first two stroke, any beginner recommendation on maintenance or good upgrades for performance (not necessarily for speed) Thanks yall rock
Chainsaw bar and chain oil is the only thing I've used in a pinch for filter oil. It's available everywhere.

Chainsaw bar oil would be my 2nd choice for air filter oil. Lots of tackifires to keep it clinging to the chain, would cling to foam well also

Thinking out loud here. I wonder how chainsaw bar oil would work in a pinch for an air filter. I mean, it's supposed to cling to a spinning chain.
That's works well...as does heavier gear oil in a pinch.
